From the moment I placed my Galaxy S8+ on the powered up pad, I loved it! Why? Because it was actually charging the phone! The reason for this very pleasant surprise is the “matching” pad that I bought with the phone does not charge it through the OtterBox case it is in. The Belkin does, and it does it well. Obviously, if the phone is on, the charge is slower; however, with the phone off, the charge time is very pleasing. Even better, it comes at a comparatively reasonable cost. If I have any quibble with the Belkin and other brands, it is the short power cord provided. Even another foot of cord would be helpful. That quibble is not enough to discount the score for this Belkin winner.

This is a great accessory for wireless charging for you iPhone X or other device that's Qi compatible. It's easy to unbox, and comes with a cable long enough for use on a nightstand or desk. All you have to do, is lay your device on top of the pad, and watch as the miracle of wireless charging begins. Overall, it's similar to other chargers on the market, but has a nice feel to it. There was no fear of the device sliding, as it has a good grip on the device while in charging mode. Just be cautious with any metal plates you have on a case, or your device, for the popular magnetic car mounts. If you place the metal directly in the path of the charging pad, it will get really hot.

5W charging is slowwwwwwwwwww. Need at least 10W these days for most items.

Dont buy if you are looking to charge your phone fast, this will not be an option.

Was not happy with this product. Not what I was told it would do.

I have been using the Belkin wireless charging pad with my iPhone 10. It is very convenient to not be tied to a cord to charge the phone. I rated the pad 4 stars because I did have one night where I had the phone on the charger all night and it did nto charge. You need to make sure the phone is engaged and charging - or you could be disappointed. It seems to charge fast and I have had not other issues. I would definitly recommend.

I couldn’t wait for Apple to release their AirPower charger so in the meantime, tried using this Belkin BOOST UP 5W Qi Certified Wireless Charging Pad (F7U068). It’s only 5W so it doesn’t charge your phone very fast. At 10% battery life on my iPhone X, it will charge it to about 19% in 15 minutes. You have to have your phone centered on the charger or it will not charge. Had it next to me on the nightstand and I woke up with an uncharged iPhone. I must of hit it while sleeping. White indicator light means that your phone is placed properly and charging. It has an object detection feature that lets you know that there may be a foreign object like coins or credit cards between your charging pad and device. Indicated by a red light. This wireless charger works with lightweight plastic cases up to 3mm thick. I use a Scosche Magic Mount and the metal plate that is stuck on my case prevents the charger from charging my iPhone. Solution: Placed the metal plate anywhere but the middle of the iPhone and it worked. Looks like a coaster but don’t put your coffee on top. I have been using this mostly for overnight charging and I use faster chargers during the day. I am very happy with the charger and would recommend, but be aware that this is a 5w charger and there are more powerful options. It could not be easier to setup – just plug in the supplied 4ft cord to the wireless charger base and the other end intothe provided AC/USB adapter brick. Base has a little LED light that will flash different colors to indicate if charging, fully charged, standby, etc. Comes with instructions that are useful but lettering is so small I had to get out my strongest reading glasses to use. 2 year warranty. Below are charging times for my Samsung S8 with case and battery at 53%, for comparison; 1 hr estimate using the phones supplied USB cord attached directly to power strip USB 5v/2.1amp outlet 1 hr 36-minute using wireless charger attached to same power strip USB 5v/2.1amp outlet. I received same estimate using the supplied AC/USB power block that comes with wireless charger. I also charged several other times with varying battery levels and it always seemed there is about 50% more time to charge using wireless vs direct charging. I have had no issues when setting the phone on the charger and getting a connection. It seems you would have to have most of the phone off the charger for it not to work. The phone does get a little warm if charging for a long period, but I don’t believe it is an issue. Final thought - It is certainly nice to be able to just set down or pick up the phone without hassling with the cord.

There is nothing to set up for this charger to work. All you need to do is connect it to the USB adaptor and it is ready to use as any charger should be. Please bear in mind that my experience with this Belkin Qi charger was with an iPhone XS Max and with a Galaxy S9. My girlfriend was totally impressed with it because it charged her S9 even in a thick leather case. It was not as fast as she expected but no Qi charger can do it at the same speed that a direct wired charger can. However, it uses only 5W, which contributes to the slowness. 7W ones would be more efficient but for overnight charging, it did its job very well. My experience with the iPhone XS Max had mixed results. The first night I tried it, I was totally disappointed because it did not charge the phone at all. The second night I noticed that I had to move the phone around for it to work. It did work but I was not so happy because I have another Qi charger that works no matter how I place the phone on it. My conclusion is that it is worth it as long as you ensure that it is actually charging after you drop your phone on it. It just requires extra attention.

This thing doesn’t work it’s extremely slow to charge them phone. Angle that phone is set on can mean no charging at all !!!! Which f Defies the whole wireless charging . Not worth the money

Tough for many android phones, this wireless charger was not compatible with my phone. I chatted on line with Belkin only to find out that the charger was incompatible with my phone.

I had not used a wireless charger before this one. However, the charging port on one of my Apple devices has become unreliable – presumably through lots of use – and I didn’t want to develop the same problem with my iPhone 8. I work from home, and on days I needed to be on the iPhone a lot, I kept the charging cord attached. Now, I just put my iPhone down on the Belkin charging pad between calls, and I don’t have to bother with a cord. The Belkin charger came with a 4-foot cord, an AC adapter, and the pad itself. Within less than a minute, I had it ready for use. I can’t comment on its charging speed other than to say it has kept my iPhone working throughout my work day and into the evening. The pad has a barely noticeable soft rubber ring on its top and more rubber on the underside, and these help prevent the charger and the phone from slipping around. My iPhone is in an OtterBox case, and that doesn’t seem to affect the charger’s performance. I have two suggestions for improving this device: (1) a longer cord and (2) for the indicator light to change colors when charging is complete (it is a solid white during charging and remains solid white afterwards). Otherwise, I have found this to be a useful, functional product.

The Belkin 5 W Qi Charger does what it is supposed to to which is charge your Qi enabled devices quickly. We have various iPhones in our household and this worked flawlessly with all of them. It even charges with a case on the phone as long as you place the phone properly on the charging pad. I definitely recommend this to anyone needing a quick Qi charger.

Takes 2-3 times longer than an apple certified lightening charger. That’s if you place your phone on it correctly.

Save your money. It does not charge. Have an iPhone XR and it takes hours to charge just a little.

First off I have been looking for a wireless charger since I got my battery case for my android phone. I never wanted to guess on such things as type, model, make, voltage, and etc. Well now I do not need to. Got this out of the box and within minutes I was charging my phone with out the need for cables hanging everywhere or in my way. Just set it down and watch the magic happen. Although I do have a rather beefy case battery, so charging is not as quick as if you have a bare phone. But since I only charge at night or after a long call/text session the charge time does not bother me. Easy to understand lights Simple setup Easy to hide cables behind something since you do not need to plug anything else in. All in all, I am happy with my charger and will be looking for a compatible case for the wife's phone so she can enjoy the ease as well.

Terrible. It never worked. I did not have a receipt so I could not return it.

Slow charge and does not work thru phone case. Would not recommend for iphone.

Don’t buy this. I don’t honk it could harm my new iPhone, Shouldn’t make it hot.
