Great Value - Charges just like a cord
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were having problems with our iPhones (6 & 7) not charging when we put the cord in. I read that dirt can get into the charger area of the phone and the connection points don't always connect properly. This Belkin charger solves that issue by charging wirelessly. I was worried the phone wouldn't charge as fast, but we didn't see any difference with the Belkin. The device has a rubber grip around the ring so the phone stays solidly on top of the charging device. This is a great device for less than the cost of a new charging cube and wire.

It's better than other charging pads
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not going to lie, between my boyfriend and I, we've tried a few wireless charging pads for my iPhone and his Android and none of them have impressed us. They are all pretty tricky. We've had to set our phones very precisely on the pad or our phones wouldn't charge. This charging pad is the first one we haven't had as many problems having our phones charge. We set our phones down and they charge with ease. It doesn't charge our phones lightening fast, but decent enough. No complaints, but still not totally impressed. More impressed than other brands though!

Charges phone wirelessly
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This charger does what it says it will do. Great for night time when you won’t be on phone. Reason for 4 stars. It’s slow to charge. Phone had to be placed just right to work. Other then that, it’s nice to have. It worked thru the phone case but not if it had a pop socket on it. Being that it was not a fast charger, if your going to keep using your phone then I suggest using a cable. But if your not going to use phone for a while like bed then it’s great to just place phone on it, adjust a little to get it lined up correctly and let it charge.

Belkin BootUp Qi Charging Pad
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I've been testing out this cool little charging pad from Belkin. This pad is pretty cool. Just plug in the microUSB cable in under the pad and plug the other end into an outlet. Place any compatible iPhone or Android device on the charging pad and voila it starts charging. I mainly use mine at night on my nightstand. It's pretty easy to use, however, you have to make sure that it's on the pad correctly or it won't charge. There's a small light indicator on the charging pad that'll turn orange if the phone is not sitting correctly on the pad.

Nice standard charging pad
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This charging pad is fairly slim. It charges at standard speed. It's not a fast wireless charger. There's a white charging light on the pad that will illuminate when your phone is charging. The lite will also illuminate white when your phone is fully charged. Unfortunately, my iPhone does not have an LED light, so I'm unable to tell when my phone is fully charged unless I unlock my phone to view the battery percentage. It would have been nice to have the charging pad illuminate green when fully charged.

Simple and Effective
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There's not much to say about this particular charging pad except that it looks nice (has a nice matte black finish!) and it works perfectly with my iPhone XS Max with the Apple battery case. I was previously using another QI charger that sometimes caused to phone to start and stop charging every few seconds until I picked it up and put it back down. Not so with this one! It also comes with a USB charger and cable, so no need to supply your own. Also nice and light for travel!

good bang for your buck
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Belkin is quite a reliable brand. I've had many different accessories from this company and they are very durable and last a long time. This is pretty standard for wireless chargers now. I do prefer the speed of charging from more expensive chargers, such as Belkin's 10W model, but it is twice as expensive as the one being reviewed. For an economy version of a wireless charger, this one will do just fine. If you want something that charges quick, I'd go with the next model up.

Not so fast
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was happy to try this wireless charger for review. Due to my pop socket, I did have to take my case off to charge. I do love the charging light that lets you know that it's working. It wasn't as fast as I would have liked, but then no wireless charger can charge as fast as Samsung's Adaptive Fast charging charger. It's great to have at your desk or work space so it can charge while you're not using it!

Great Wireless Charger
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So for some background, in my family, we have an iPhone X, an XR, and an iPhone 8. I tested this device with all three and it worked great. All three devices had different cases on them and had no problems charging. My daughters' iPhone 8 even has a popsocket on the back of the case, and the charger was still able to charge the phone without having to remove the case and popsocket. It handled our devices with no issue.

Not in a rush? Here you go, great bedside charger
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Long story short; it doesn't rapid charge. That's a good and a bad thing; I tried it with a Pixel 3 XL and two other Samsung phones and it will only charge them "slowly." I figured with the 5W version this would be the case, but still was hoping it was capable of rapid charging. Not a massive deal breaker, but enough for me to say just go for the 7.5W or better yet, the 10W version if that's what you're after. This one will do the trick as a bedside/nighttime charger when you don't need juice quickly. In that regard, it's probably the best situation for it. You don't want while you're asleep to have it sit needlessly at 100% for 5-7 hours. Or, worst-case scenario, have it overheat due to rapid charging and something bad happens... So for those wanting a nice, convenient way to charge at night this is for you. For those wanting to put there phone down for ~30 minutes and have the peace of mind that they'll have enough juice for ~5 hours? Not so much. Build quality is still that of what you'd expect from Belkin, it's a very nice feeling, weighted, and quality unit.

Robust Charging Capabilities!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Charge..Ready…Set...Go! This charger has been a life saver for me as I am one who relies heavily on my phone. Suffice to say, I run out of juice quickly on a daily basis. This little ‘coaster’ of a charger has been a life saver as it gives a quick charge when I am in tight spots. The charging capabilities of this phone is wonderful; however, I wish it were 10W; but at this time 5W is meeting my needs well!

Overall a good wireless charger, but slow.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been wanting a wireless charger for my Samsung Galaxy S8+ so that I could just put my phone down on my nightstand at night and charge it. I was tired of scrambling for the charging cord in the dark. This wireless charger works great, however, there are a couple of drawbacks that I have found. It has a thin profile and measures approximately 3 - 3/4" in diameter. With its size, you would think you could just place your phone on it and it would start charging. For me, that's not the case. It feels like there is a 1/4" "sweet spot" in the center that you have to find with the center of your phone to get it to charge. Once the phone is charging I've noticed that it gets very hot. I understand that wireless charging can lead to a hotter phone, but this is a dramatic increase over the phone's standard cord charging. Also, I've found that it takes about three times as long to charge versus the fast charging cable that came with the phone. I don't mind this as I mainly use it to charge my phone overnight. However, if you need a fast charge I would recommend using the fast charging cable that came with the phone. Overall, it is nice to not have to worry about a charging cable anymore. If you're looking for a reasonably priced wireless charger that works well, then this one is worth checking out.

Doesnt look like much but does the job!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This charging pad may not look like much out of the box and for the price it was hard to swallow. However it is a pretty cool device and wireless charges your iPhone X without even removing the case. This charger is made of hard plastic while others are made of rubber so it is more durable. Includes outlet plug and USB plug to switch between.

Decent wireless charger
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I figured now that I have a brand new iPhone XR I would take advantage of the wireless charging capabilities. The Belkin 5 watt wireless charger works well enough, it takes quite a bit more time than using a wired charger, I found it really handy for use at work, when I often place my phone on my desk anyhow, now I just place it on this charging pad, it helps to maintain my charge throughout the day and enables me to not worry about eventually wearing out my lightning port. Pros: - wireless charging - convienant Cons: - you have to have a THIN plastic or no case for the charger to work with your phone. - a slight angle would be helpful in reading your phone while charging. - phone placement on the pad has to be optimal. - Green flashing LED is annoying at night.

Works great with an iPhone X/XS
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's be honest. Lightning cables break, you forget to plug them in, and you leave finding your phone is below 50% and silently curse yourself for not charging it. The Belkin Wireless charging pad solves for all of that. It has been just over 72 hours with this next to my computer and no more flat battery! Huzzah! The Belkin disc is large enough to balance your phone and not have to worry about precisely lining up your phone. Never had to think twice, just drop and start work. It also has a small discrete handy white light so that you know it's charging. I can't comment on charging speed and one of my friends who is a wireless charging purist keeps talking about wattage - but this works, does what I need and I am happy. Also BONUS points for Belkin for actually including a USB Power Outlet, so it's all ready to go out of the box. Thank you!

Great charger
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this charger, it's used quite a bit. I have no complaint and am looking to buy a couple of more for the house. It's convenient to just set my phone down and know that it's charging rather than having it grab the cord and plug it in.

Works good, not the best
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I first thought that this wireless charger would be one of the best I own. I was wrong. It has a very high quality build, but that is where the positives end. Don't get me wrong, the wireless charger does work. But the charging "sweet spot" is actually smaller than some of the other cheaper chargers I own. I actually have to play around with the phone each time I place it on the charger to get it to work. I don't know if it's the coil location or what, but it is a little frustrating. The second issue is that it is not a fast charger. It does not advertise it to be one, I just don't know why it would not be in this day and age. Other than that, it does what it is supposed to do, and that is to charge the phone. It is basic and does it's job, but nothing special.
