It charged my phone 10% in about half an hour and made my phone really hot. I do not recommend.

Needs a bit more juice for my needs

Returned for a Belkin type c 18v and am much happier

It is my fault for not reading the description well.

The Belkin CCE001 is designed to work with devices using USB-A cables at power levels up to 12W. Thus, you may try force closing all the application running on the background of your phone while charging and observe its connection. The Belkin CCB001 can charge two devices on its USB-A ports with up to 12W each. You may try power cycling your phone and force closing all the applications running on the background for isolation and observe if the same concern appears. Cable was no good right out of the box

I liked that you had the ability to charge two phones at once and it came with a cable. Unfortunately, the cable did not work and so I needed to return it. Due to the fact that Best Buy had no more I had to purchase a different one. Perhaps I could have given it 5* if it hadn't come broken.
