I plugged it in as soon as I got to my car and drove with it plugged in until I got home. Tried to turn on the phone and still no power. Went inside and charged it. By the time I needed the car charger again and realized it was actually not working, it was too late to return it.

A must-have charging accessory
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I chose the Belkin Dual USB charger, I must admit I wasn't expecting it to be much different than the dozens of car charges I have had over the years. Well - I was most pleasantly surprised. This is a *MUST HAVE* for anyone looking for rapid-charging on the go for multiple devices. Pros: - Sleek, small design fits really well even in the tiniest spaces in all our cars - Feels sturdy and high quality - Rapid (and I mean RAPID) charging for two devices simultaneously; my experience was charging a mobile fast-charge enabled device from 30% to 83% in 20 minutes with only one device plugged in. Similar speed, surprisingly, with two devices - USB-A to USB-C cable is a real bonus, especially at this price point. Cons: Honestly, I have a hard time finding any cons with this product. One caveat, however. One of our vehicles retains accessory power even after the vehicle is turned off. While I didn't experience battery drain, I can see how this could potentially be problematic if I were to leave a device (think Dash Cam) plugged in for a long duration without the vehicle running. The Verdict: BUY THIS PRODUCT! You won't know how you lived without a compact but mighty charger like this!

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Belkin has certainly come out with some very dependable fast chargers in the past couple of years and this one remains in that group and on the cutting edge. These no-nonsense chargers can power your device batteries up in a fraction of the time that it takes a normal charger to do the same. Since newer products have the C connection and I still have several with the A connection, I can now power one of each simultaneously with this mobile charger, and I can do so on the go. The Dual USB-A to USB-C 24W car charger is a 24W charger that can distribute 12 w to each device. This compared to the standard 5W basic charger will power my devices over 2 x faster than standard chargers. Included in the box is the mobile charger and a 3.3-foot USB-A to USB-C cable. The charger also comes with a 2-year limited equipment warranty. The Belkin Dual 24W charger is very affordable and well worth the purchase. I highly recommend it as I have done for most all other Belkin charging devices in the past 3 years.

high output car charger

This works well for quick charging phones, tablets or other devices. It is well built and comes with a high quality USB-A to USB-C cable. The charger provided reliable charging to two devices simultaneously. My only complaint is that the charger appears to have a little more height than typical car chargers. Frankly I prefer the lower profile car chargers as they do not tilt or are prone to being displaced. However I suspect the added height has to do with the wattage capacity. Pros: - charges phones and tablets per their max specs - built well - nice cable included USB-A to USB-C cable included Cons: - a bit large, has some height and can stick out further than low profile chargers.
