This wireless charger works with a case still attached. It is better than anything else.

This charger is good at first but then it takes forever to charge or it wont even charge at all.

I’ve used many belkin products but this particular item disappointed me. Takes more time to change my phone.

I was always hesitant to get a wireless charging pad for my phone as I often continue to use my phone while it charges, my first thought was having to pick up and hold the charging pad with my phone and that sounded very inconvenient. However after a few weeks of use, I find this gadget to be extremely useful. First, on the website listing for this product, it really was not clear about what devices were or were not compatible with it, however I knew my phone (samsung galaxy s7) had been able to charge wirelessly in the past so I was not too concerned. However when it arrived, on the front of the box it mentioned that it would work with samsung phones starting with the 8 and a longer list of iphone options, no mention of the s7. I instantly got worried but I took the chance and tried it out and it works fine with my galaxy s7. I will start off by saying right away that I do not use this charging pad in place of my normal wired charger, as like I said, there are still plenty of times where I want to plug my phone in but continue being on it. But for the times where I am, say working in the kitchen, or working in my office or bedroom and I am not focused on my phone, this charging pad makes life so easy! It is during times like that that I will be setting my phone down anyways, on the counter or desk, so why not set it down and charge it at the same time!? Doing this not only keeps charging plugs and wires out of the way, but also available for other devices that can charge in my case via micro usb. The charging pad has no problem charging my phone thru my medium duty otterbox case, however once I have my popsocket on the back of that, it can no longer get close enough to charge. One thing I noticed is that even though my phone says it is fast charging, just like it says when I plug in my oem samsung charger, it is definitely not as fast as the wired route. Also during the charging process, quite a bit of heat builds up with both the phone and the charging pad. As far as my phone getting warm, it is not all that surprising because when plugging my phone in with a wire, it gets pretty warm from time to time. However the charging pad sometimes gets a little too warm for comfort. It also clearly says in the directions if the charging pad will not be used for a few days, to unplug it as it could get hot and I can confirm that indeed does happen. Overall not a bad product, not a necessity but it does come in handy daily for sure.

This is the first wireless charger I've used. I recently purchased an iPhone 8 and wanted to use a wireless charger to save wear and tear on the lightning port on the phone, as I had issues with my previous iPhone 6. I've been using the wireless charger for a few days now and absolutely love it. Contemplating purchasing others to have laying around the house as quick charge stations. The packing is nice and simple, like the product. Inside the box you get a charging pad, a power supply and some instructions. Basically plug the power supply into the charger, and then plug it into the wall. You are then good to go. I have the white charger, and a little white light shows up on the front of it showing that it is ready to charge. Lay your phone on top of the charging pad, and it just 'works'. I didn't have to download any software, didn't have to install an app, didn't have to configure anything at all. It just works, exactly as I expected it to. I laid my phone on there with about 54% charge. Within 20 mins I was at 88% charge. That is definitely fast enough for my needs. I'll be using this as an overnight charger, I use my phone before going to sleep, so just laying the phone down on the nightstand is a lot easier to do in the dark! I have a Spigen case on my phone and it works perfectly through that without any issues at all. It will charge through cases that are up to 3mm thick. When you look at the instructions, if you register the product online with Belkin, they give you an additional warranty on the charger for another year. That gives you 3 years total, which means that Belkin is really prepared to stand behind this product. There are no other annoying lights on the charging pad to bother you at night. Just a soft, white light. It has a soft rubber ring on top to grip your phone and a rubber base, so that it won't slip off the counter. You are now saved from tangled up charging cords that fall behind your nightstand etc! Overall, I couldn't be happier with this device! Does exactly what I expected it to do, does it well, and stylishly at the same time.

I grave to remove my case every night before charging. Expected better quality for brand and price.

My last wireless charger was on a Palm Pre2. It was really cool technology before they had the Qi wireless charging standard. While I've had a couple phones that were wireless charging capable, I wasn't sure which pad to buy. I like the concept of a wireless charger because I don't have to lift the flap of my OtterBox case to plug in a charger, nor am I wearing out the USB-C connection on my phone. My latest phone is a Galaxy S8. I was debating on whether to get a Samsung charger or this Belkin and this Belkin seemed like a better decision to me. There are two places where I would ding this Charging Pad. The first is that the charger is a barrel connector. I would like it to be a USB C so I could charge non-Qi compatible phones. But since this charging pad is compatible with Android and iPhone devices, it makes sense that Belkin couldn't choose one standard over another. The second place is that this pad doesn't allow you to lay your phone on an incline for better visibility. It's a flat disc. Which can prove to be very convenient as it doesn't take much room in my computer bag. Charging with this pad is fast. It charges at practically the same speed as a direct USB C connection. I have an OtterBox case on my phone and I witnessed no speed of charging change between having the case or not. Placement of the phone on the charger is pretty easy. Drop the phone roughly in the middle of the charger, a white LED confirms correct placement and then my phone confirms the wireless charging is active. I like that the white LED is small and not very bright. The Samsung wireless charger has a bright blue LED that tends to light up my bedroom. One thing I do miss from my Palm Pre2 wireless charging days is that absence of locator magnets to help position my phone for optimal charging. It just takes a little getting used to center your phone on the pad. I also like the non-slip ring on the top to help keep your phone in place. Overall a solid product from a trusted brand name.

This is an excellent charger relative to function and design. However, first of all you need to be sure it will work with your device. The title of the device can be misleading since it says “Belkin – Boost UP 10W Qi Certified Wireless Charging Pad for iPhone/Android”. This isn’t clear since you have to read more to ensure your phone is compatible. Not all phones Apple or Android are compatible. The box does show the few compatible phones and then includes “…other Qi-enabled devices”. Before you buy it, be sure you understand what Qi means and when you Google around a bit, you will see exactly which cell phones are Qi-enabled. Also be careful that you aren’t surprised by having to buy additional accessories for your phone to make it compatible. Now using this item is great. You don’t need to connect any wire to the phone, just lay it on the pad; there’s a rubber ring on the top of the pad to keep the phone in place and an LED will show it is charging. It’s very convenient to use it while working by just placing the phone on your desk and let it charge. I’m being a little picky in that a better design I think would be to make the power connector a ‘C’ USB or even a mini USB connector so that you would have the ability to use the charger with other devices; instead it comes with a mini-jack. I realize you will mostly use the charger with this device, but it would be a nice extra use. I do recommend this product as it is very solid and it is very nice to be able to just place your phone on the pad instead of plugging in a cable; and likewise it’s easy to grab the phone and run without pulling the cable out. I don’t think you gain much in saving wear and tear on the charging port, but you will find it becomes something you really do prefer and enjoy. It is one of those products where once you've used it for a while you will say, "I'm so glad I go this, it is a winner".

I have an older Belkin (white, larger "disk area") and it has been good with my iPhone. I wanted to get one for my wife and this one is difficult to find the "sweet spot". Also, sometimes it will be on the sweet spot and then the dot will turn Orange to indicate it isn't charging.

The Wireless Charging Pad is super easy to setup, all you have to do is plug the Wireless Charging Pad to the provided power cable, place it on a flat surface and that’s it. On the Wireless Charging Pad, there is a Status LED on the front that will let you know if the pad is not charging your device or if it is. Like most people, I have a protective case on my smartphone and at first I thought I was going to have an issue with this charger. Reportedly, this charger can charge devices with cases that are up to 3mm thick. Based on the design of my case (it’s a Seidio case) with the dual rubber/plastic cover system, I initially believed that it was going to be a little too thick for the charger to detect. That was not case here, my smartphone was able to detect the wireless charger and it started to Fast Charge automatically. I did notice that it did get a bit warm between the charging surface of the Wireless Charging Pad and my smartphone, but that should be anticipated. The Wireless Charging Pad was a bit little slower at charging my device than if I were using the original Samsung charger, but the difference in charging time isn’t too bad. Here are the charging time I experienced with my Galaxy S9 between the Qi Wireless Charging Pad and my Original Samsung Charger, both sources indicated that they were "Fast Charging". Belkin Qi Wireless Charging Pad: 1 hour and 22 minutes for a full charge from 50% battery Original Samsung Charger: 1 hour for a full charge from 50% battery Overall, this BOOST↑UP Wireless Charging Pad by Belkin is able to Fast Charge my Samsung Galaxy S9 or any other device that has the capability to be charged wirelessly. Making it rather convenient to charge a device at home or in the office without having to constantly look for your charging cable.

Not really useful. I just use a reg charger and can take it with me anywhere I go.

This was my first wireless charger and i figured Belkin would be a good product. When I got it home I found that it came with its own AC power cord and not USB which is a problem for me since I travel a lot. I decided to keep it and it worked well for a few days. Then it started charging intermittently. I had to move the phone around to a very precise point on the charger before it would charge. Also, I seemed that the lower the remaining battery in the phone the worse this problem was. I returned it, and bought a much cheaper one from amazon which works way better.

Using this wireless charger made my Samsung S6 get extremely hot so i chose not to use it and returned the item. Research indicated that this item should work with my model of phone. Perhaps it will work with other models.

This brand does not charge as fast as other brand. Still nice.

I am not sure about this charger I don't know why I bought this.

The device is an xmas gift so unknown how good it is

Like many others I'm sure, my phone may spend many hours at work sitting out on my desk when I'm at the office. While it is sitting out, it could be charging by simply sitting it down on this charger. I have an iPhone 8 that does wireless charging, so you have to have a phone with that feature for it to work this way. But also, when home and sitting in my favorite chair, my phone sits on the arm of the chair. Why not put it down on this puck looking device to charge. It works, and it works great. I watched it go from 61%to 65%in no time at all. But I also noticed an orange light appear during a charging cycle. Why? My phone was either placed incorrectly onto the charging puck or it is noticing interference from something else - turns out it was my metal Fitbit band with the magnetic clasp. Once re-positioned and outside inference was removed, everything worked great. So this charges fast, looks great, is a very reasonable price point, and ultimately a really good value. Did I mention I have an iPhone 8 PLUS sized unit? And that it is in an Otterbox Defender? And this thing is still charging even with the Otterbox Defender on it. Beautiful. Right now it is sitting on the arm of my chair, charging. It charges this phone very fast. Belkin has great stuff, and this is no exception to that norm. Great job Belkin!

Love look and price...BUT... It often stop charging. My wife or I will put our phones on the charger, the light will come on showing that it's charging. Then a minute later it's not charging it's very frustrating

I read this is the only wireless charger that works with a pixel outside of Googles charger. It worked, but extremely slow. Not worth it if you have a google phone.
