You have to be very exact on where you put tour phone on the device or it won’t be charged. I would definitely look somewhere else for a charger of this kind

I have a Samsung S9 with a otter box and It charges fast even with the otter box. I am how ever using a Rapid wall charger which might make a denfrane. Not sure but for as cheap as it was it is great. I'm thinking of gitting one for up in my bed room. Also be for I ordered the pad I read other reviews and they said that it does not come with the microusb and wall charger. Just to Clarify mine did come with the microusb and wall charger. There were also concerns about over heating. I put my phone on the charger over night My phone and charger was warm when I got up in the morning but nothing to be concerned about so far.

This Belkin Wireless Charging Pad can charge Qi-enabled devices up to 5 Watts so it shouldn't be that slow to charge. The Wireless charging pad delivers charging speed up to 5W to Qi-enabled devices. To isolate, try to power-cycle your Qi-enabled mobile device to see if there are any changes to the charging speed and, try to remove your phone case if it has one for further isolation.

We understand that this unit did not meet your expectations. However, please know that our charging pads have an Inductive type of wireless charging. This type requires direct physical contact between the phone and the wireless charger so their charging coils inside can be connected and aligned. For easy use, you may remove the phone case.

Please be informed that this device will only charge QI-enabled smartphones, and it should be placed at the middle to align with the charging coil and properly charge your phone.
