The charging coils of both the pad and your phone must be in contact in order to charge. A popsocket or a thick case may impede this. It is recommended that you remove them when charging the your phone with the wireless charging pad.
Also, apps that is running in the background may slow down the charging of your phone. We suggest that you force close any running apps while charging your phone to improve its charging speed.

As long as your phone is positioned on the middle part of the wireless charger and the LED is solid green, then the charging should start efficiently with no issues. Your experience is very uncommon as we engineered the BOOST UP Wireless Charging Pad (F7U027) to be compatible to work with lightweight plastic cases up to 3mm thick (not compatible with metal cases).
