First, the usbc cable to connect to your device is comically short. Second, using a display with this will require drivers (at least on Mac) and you should expect the display to occasionally flicker for a second or two. Sometimes it will wait an hour or two between flickers, sometimes it will do it 3 times in a matter of minutes. Then, 1-2 times a day its like the dock completely turns off. Display will go dark for a bit and all devices connected to the dock loses power. So I would recommend not connecting any external storage to this dock if you were planning on it. Giving it two stars instead of one because while everything I stated is really annoying, it's still somewhat getting me by. Still wouldn't recommend getting this. Instead pay the premium and get a dock from CalDigit.

Although the price is the only caveat. However, in justification, all the other products i tried were a lot cheaper. I guess that makes sense.
