It works...But, I don't know why the creators made such a short cord to reach the laptop. It is 8 inches. The goal is to put the docking station behind your monitors with all of their impossible cords out of sight. At 8 inches, there simply isn't the length needed.

Bad USB-C Ports

Now the device's USB-C ports do not charge phones or tablets, and each time I plug it into my computer the screen flickers.

OK but recommend not using their silicon motion

I loaded their software as sticker on device recommended. It caused two issues. First my watch could no longer be used to unlock my computer as software uses screen sharing and recording. 2nd my mouse cursor movement was very erratic. I found by using the HDMI port 1 I could remove their software and this resolved both of my issues. Other it seems find but given all I currently have plugged in are network cable, HDMI for monitor, usb keyboard and SDD drive for Time Machine backup seems to get warmer than I expected.
