This laptop cooling pad is doing a great job keeping my computer's overheating tendencies under control. In fact the whole office is cooler now because of it. Just plug it in and go to work. Downsides are that the cord is 6 inches too short to be practical and that the surface of the pad can be a little slippery and cause the laptop to slide around if trying to use it away from my desk.
