I'm not saying it doesn't make any noise, but I had read some were pretty bad. This is just the tiniest amount of white noise. I don't have to turn up the volume on the TV because of it! I was worried about the USB drawing too much power and killing my battery too fast, but haven't found that to be a problem at all.

Great air flow underneath laptop and quiet.

Using HD temperature measuring software, it has reduced the HD heat by 5 degrees Celsius or higher depending on load placed on laptop (like Photoshop CC). A staff at the Best Buy where I purchased it got it for his gamer friend so he had first hand knowledge of how well it worked. Thanks Best buy.
