Its light and my laptop stays in place. It is also quiet.

Bought this for my playstation3 and it works great

It works decently overall, but I'm still experiencing overheating on my computer. Not sure if its the design, or if its my computer.

I think this product works ok. I just wish it was larger in order to more comfortably hold my 17" laptop (especially front to back).

When first purchased this seemed fine, but now it doesn't seem to blow as much air.

It's compact. It looks good. It's very quiet. it just doesn't keep my laptop cool. It just fails to do the one thing it really needs to do.

When I talked with one of your terrific sale folks, I asked about cooling pads for laptops. He mentioned an angle that I had not considered--typically you guys KNOW the product and the CONTEXT--you're not just "selling stuff". You have advice. But, his own take on cooling pads, was that they weren't that effective--from what he'd seen, and he admitted it was not real extensive. My view was, I had a 6-7 year old MacBook that I really didn't want to have to replace. That "BABYING" it a bit, was worth the dollars--turned out it was on sale for $19. Oh, yea, your guys point was that the internal cooling fan for the MacBook is in the hinge between the screen and body. Right. And thought that would lower the effect. Well, the fan blows directly on the bottom of the laptop, and I can report that it has significant, noticeable coolling. The are where the batteries are, on the left and center. Have often been "hot" to the touch--not quite to hot to touch, but up there. With the fan in place, these ares are now "warm" but not hot--you can feel a clear difference if you run it fan OFF, then turn it on and let it run a bit. If you wet your fingers, you can feel the air blowing out both sides of the laptop. So, it doesn't get the unit down to "cool" but takes a big edge off of HOT. Only small issue is the fan noise is noticeable, though not disturbing. I normally like "tomb like" silence--hear a pin drop. But this fan noise is steady, and smooth--I can tune it out. But it is not a "whisper". Also, laptop fits neatly on pad. The rubber feet on the Mac keep it secure. Like every other Belkin item I've had, it is well designed and thought out. Handsome, clean lines. And I assume it will last--my experience.

I used to own an older model which worked great. So after a really good use we had to retire it. I thought by buying the same brand I would get the same quality. That was very far from the truth. It does not cool a laptop. Mine is a Mac Book pro 13" and it does not keep it cool at all.

Evidently, my laptop gets too hot for this cooking pad to be effective. There's only one air cluster or air holes for the cooling fan to blow through; so it didn't work for me. I need something a lot better than that and with more holes.

Don't know if it was just me but the laptop didn't seem to fit right on the cooling pad (although it was the correct size) and it did nothing to cool down my laptop. It's a purchase I actually plan to return.

This pad does not do very much to help ventilate the laptop and does not have much power.
