I bought this cooler because I was in need of something to help keep my lap top cool. I saw that this one had great reviews on bestbuy.com, so I decided to give it a go. As it turns out this lap top cooler does deserve the great reviews! I am very pleased with my purchase. This lap top cooler is quite, portable, has a build in cord holder, rubber stoppers for flat surfaces and it has a rubber lip at the bottom so you lap top wont slide off! AND most importantly it keeps my lap top cool! If I had to give a negative it would be the price, but even then I don’t think that is a real negative. It was under $30 and since it does work great I have no problem with the price. If you are in need of a lap top cooler I defiantly recommend this. =)

was broken so I did not buy another one. the tray was awkward for my laptop and had a hard time getting it to stay stable.

overall i'm very happy with this purchase. my laptop was starting to spontaneously shut down after about a year and a half. i suspected it was overheating, so I cleaned the laptop well, which helped, but what really made the difference was adding this cooling pad to the equation. i carry my laptop around a lot at home - from bed to office to living area and back and forth - and this is easy to carry along. my only gripe is that it keeps running after the laptop goes to sleep or hibernates, and sometimes that's in the bedroom with us trying to sleep. easy to solve by unplugging it, though!

A very comfortable cooling pad. The usb cord connects to either side or the back of my computer, tucked neatly away in a grooved slot while in use, and also for storage. This is thin enough to fit nicely in my laptop bag, yet provides decent airspace between any surface and the bottom of my computer. It handles the 15' width very well and would accomodate either smaller or larger sizes. I especially like the raised lip on the front, which keeps my computer from sliding off.

This product has helped my laptop immensely. Before I was having a lot of over heating issues with it sitting in my lap or even just on the table. This product helps tilt the laptop up so it gets more flow through air underneath while fanning it from the underside as well. It's also made it much more comfortable to use my laptop on my lap. It makes it more stable and cooler while working with it no matter where I'm at. The only thing I don't like about it is a wish the fan that blows onto the laptop were a little bigger. I think it would work even better to cool the laptop. The price is good for the quality of the product.

It pulls air from the back so even keep it on the carpet or your bed it keeps the laptop cool. Not noisy as other cooling pads. I gave it one star less (not 5) because it would have been much better product if it had two fans rather than one, but I believe it would have had a litter better effect but had been nosier. Could not be more happy with this product.

I liked the cooler, for the first 2 months it was quiet and did a good job. Then it started rattling when you first turned it on and then suddenly my computer overheated. The Belkin had died - no fan - no other signs of life. The real bummer was that when we took it back to the store, they no longer carried that model so we had to get another. I am glad they have a good returns policy.

I recently joined the Mac Millions and purchased my first Macbook Pro and though I absolutely love my Mac, I didn't know just how hot the bottom gets when you hold it. The great thing about this product is that it has a giant fan with two vents, one directly below and one that goes out the back so that you can have it on your lap and it will compel the heat away from you out the back vent. ****At Best Buy this was the only cooling pad that has a back vent, everything else has one on the bottom, which means you can't hold your laptop on your lap or the vents will not work.

It's worth the $20 spent on this. I use my laptop in bed a lot, and the cooling pad works great. It has a little cut out on the back and makes it so easy to pick up and carry the laptop wherever I go. My Dell Inspiron fits perfect on the pad.

For the first couple months this worked perfectly. It kept my laptop fairly cool and it held my 17" notebook in place well whether it was on a desk or in my lap. It was very easy to use, fairly quiet, and easy to carry with you. After a few months, however, I noticed it would occasionally quit working for seemingly no reason, of course that was after my laptop had already begun setting itself on fire from the inside. Every time it quit working, I always checked first to see if it had somehow gotten loose from the USB port, and it never did, because I know how to use a USB port.... At first I could just unplug it and plug it back in and it would sometimes go back to working fine. Then it got to the point where I literally could not get it to turn on no matter which of the three USB ports on my computer I plugged it into. No other USB device (like my mouse or joystick I use for gaming) has ever had the same issue, which led me to believe it was the cooling pad that was slowly giving out. There was never any kind of contaminant in there either like dust or dirt. Sure enough, about 6-7 months later, it won't accept power from any of my ports. I even tested it on a friend's laptop and still nothing. It's just dead. For the fairly low price, I got great use out of it considering how often my computer is on (college student), but I'll be looking at another cooling pad that's hopefully more durable to replace it. *Too long; did not read*: It's a good cooling pad that will provide adequate cooling for your laptop, but in my experience, I spent about half the time trying to figure out why it wouldn't work and now it's completely dead after 6-7 months. RIP, little guy.

This is a great cooling pad I use it on my MAC 15' laptop and it fits perfect. Cool laptop fast and fan is very quiet, very easy to store and wrap fan USB cord.

I really love this one, I was really skeptical, especially for the price, but I was like, what the hey. I am constantly using it and it cools my laptop quick, sometimes my fingers get cold while using it. Its kind of nice on my lap, but I feel like my laptop slides around a lot on it, but I don't usually put it on like a table or something. It also has a lip to prevent my laptop from going forward, but it doesn't do anything for me and catches dirty easily with the material it's made from.. I am hoping this will last me a while, and it seems like it will. I've paid for laptop coolers over $50 and this one is better than those I've had.

I have owned several cooling devices for my older laptop, and this is by far the best I have ever used! It conveniently runs via USB --Super quiet and very efficient! Thanks so much!

Cools very well. My computer was running slowly and crashing because of overheating, but no more. Works well on blankets and soft surfaces, too. Very sleek design and isn't bulky at all. I would definitely recommend it.

This chill hub for my laptop is by far the best one I have ever used (out of 4). It powers right from the laptop via a USB connection and keeps my computer very cool so that it does not over heat and shut down. It is whisper quiet and I frequently have to look under my laptop to SEE that it actually is still working because there is virtually no sound to go by! I would recommend this product to anyone who has issues with their laptop getting too hot and need an affordable way to keep it cooled down.

It's easy on many laptop cooling pads to accidentally block the vents. Not so on this one. The wide rear intake keeps it cooling, even if you have it on a very soft lap or propped on a pillow.

It works beautifully. Keeps my HP G62 laptop cooler than the competitor's product that it replaced; runs quieter; cost about $10 less; and the cable routing guides underneath the unit reduce the chance of the cord getting snagged and breaking a wire, which is why I needed to replace the old one. Actually, this is my second unit. I got the first one home from the store, plugged it in and it didn't work. Upon close inspection I could see that the fan had broken loose from the motor. Took it back (only 10 minutes away), they exchanged it with no hassle - one of the nicest benefits of dealing with a brick-and-mortar business.

Got this because my laptop kept shutting down while I was gaming. Doesn't shut down anymore and tho bottom is always cool to the touch now. Great affordable product

This is actually cold. While it make occasionally make a tiny bit of fan noise, it is well worth it. Quiet for the most part.

This is an excellent cooling pad that I have had for a year now. I don't usually write reviews, but this is a product worth telling about. I have this under a laptop that i use as a server. It runs for 24/7 and keeps the laptop so cool that the fan in the computer runs for a total of 10 minutes a day!!!!!!! An excellent product, that will last for a long time!!!
