My laptop was overheating and this was the perfect solution.

I use my lap top to run several 3D graphics programs, often at the same time. I would be right in the middle of my projects when the computer would either lock up or just crash. Since getting the coolspot I have not had one crash for over heating.

While the cooling pad is sturdy and comfortable the fan stopped working 2 weeks after purchase. I should have known better as the first Belkin laptop pad did the same thing. If your looking to waste your time and money this is the fan for you.

It was the perfect solution for my laptop battery getting too hot and not performing properly.

I bought this cooling pad after reading many positive reviews. My laptop is about 2 yrs old and it produces significant heat. I use HWMonitor software to monitor the temperature of my CPU. Before I used the cooling pad, the temperatures shown by the software was core#0: 40C and core#1: 40C and on maximum use, it used to go around 52. The cooling pad didn't do much magic and now I still get about same readings, just a few Celcius less. The fan in this cooling pad is located somewhere on top section and my laptop heats near the mouse pad area. So I guess the positioning of the fan was not in the right place for my laptop.

A little bulkier than I expected but as I stated it keeps my laptop nice and cool.

The cooling pad seems to work fine but is bulky, so not a very desirable addition to your lap - if you just want it to sit under your laptop on a desk, that would be fine.

I have a Toshba dual core laptop that can get hot sometimes. With the Belkin coooling pad running, the core temps are lowered by up to 10C. If you are gaming with you laptop, I highly recommend one of these cooling pads. Oh, it's quiet also.

I have been using this for my laptop now for about (3) weeks and I love it. It really keeps my laptop cooler and that is all I wanted it to do. It is light weight and sturdy and would support even larger laptops. Mine is a bit larger than a netbook (10").

Excellent. We had trouble with our computer locking up and thought that it was because it overheated. Apparently, we were right. We haven't had it lock up or overheat since we started using this "pad".

I like how the base is angled so it is easier to type on the keyboard while sitting at a desk. The vent isn't lined up properly with my laptop fan but I move it to where it should be. Overall, for the price, I am pleased with this product.

This is a replacement cooler for my laptop. This one seems to be better then the ones I had before. I like the fact that there is complete airflow around the cooler and it keeps my laptop cooled down.

I purchased two of these. One for a 15.6" laptop and one for a 17" laptop. They are very quiet and keep the laptops safe from over heating.

My wife's computer used to freeze alot, but with this cooling pad she say it doesn't freeze any more.

Considering returning this product. The top is slick, so the laptop is constantly trying to slide around on it. When moving it around, the tilt function is too loose and it changes settings when you don't want it to. As long as you leave it in one place, and keep the angle low, then it should work OK for you.
