This cooling pad is awesome. I love it. It not only keeps my laptop cool but allows me to rest my hands comfortably while typing. I have not had any problems with it and would recommend it to anyone needing a great cooling pad. Great price and quality.

After reading the reviews I went out and bought it. Some reviewers said the fan noise was loud. I personally feel it sounds like any other fan being on. It is quite enough to hear everything when streaming. The tilt makes it more comfortable to type. The cord could be a touch longer maybe a 1/2 inch but no more. Otherwise this is a great product!

So I needed a laptop cooling pad because every time I played games on my laptop, it got extremely hot. I found this one for Pretty cheap, so i decided to get it. it works great, better then i expected. it keeps my laptop really cool. It's also USB Powered. Overall, It's a great laptop cooling pad. i would definitely recommend it.

I've had one of these for just over a year and a half. Does a great job cooling my MacBook Pro, which gets insanely hot. It finally died last week (the cooler). My only gripe (besides what I consider a short life) is that the fan was inconsistently NOISY. I'd always have to unplug and re-plug the USB power cable. That seemed to get rid of the buzzing noise. That said, for the price, you can't go wrong. It's not the highest quality piece, but does a good job for next to nothing. Compare it to one of the dual-fan units for $40+, which reportedly don't cool as well (how is that??). I'm ordering another today.

My Laptop was getting very hot and the cooling fan did not remove the heat. I put temperature monitoring software on, got the cooling pad and the temp dropped 10 deg. Solved my problem and works great. And it is very quite sometimes I have to check it is on because you can not hear the fan. Happy.

I was looking for a cheap laptop cooler for my girlfriend and decided on the Belkin. There wasn't a huge variety and I wasn't very picky primarily concerned with price. It does it's job but is small for her laptop...the feet of the laptop just barely fit on the cooler and often she doesn't line them up so its flat against the cooler and doesn't ventilate as well as it would otherwise. Overall not bad and works.

Keeps my laptop at an angle to improve ergonomics. Let's air circulate to keep laptop cool. Lightweight

My laptop is a 15" screen size and sits on this cooling pad just dandy. It overhangs it a bit on the sides, but, I believe that was intended. It sits solidly on it, doesn't slide around or wobble. The rise above table top is slight, as is the angle of the slope. I find both the height and slope slight enough to increase comfort of keypad use when sitting at a table, as well as when I'm on the couch using it a top a lapdesk. When the fan is plugged into a USB it runs. It's a little noisy, but, eventually you become less aware of it. I don't feel the need to use it most of the time, but, when I do it's a ready option for me. I'm pleased w/ the unit.

My old cooler broke and this was the best size for my 13.3 MacBook Pro. All the other ones were way too big. My old fan would suck air in from the back but this one sucks air in from the bottom. So when I put it on my lap when I'm in bed this thing is pretty useless and sucks up no air at all. I have to make sure my legs are at a specific angle which is kind of annoying. Other than that it works great if it's on a solid surface.

Although this cooling pad does do the job, it is incredibly loud. The fan has a rattle to it and has had it since it was brand new. I should have taken it back, but i don't use my home computer enough to remember to take it back within the return window. I would spend the 10-15 extra dollars to get a better quality one.

Its nothing fantastic, but if you're looking for a little something to tide you over so your computer doesnt overheat while mindlessly browsing facebook or cragslist for hours on end, then it gets the job done. i have a 15.6" laptop and its about 3.5 inches too short and my laptop doesn't sit right on the rubber pads so it slips down over time, i feel like i'm adjusting it pretty frequently. Anyway, it's been holding up, so until it breaks or my computer overheats, i'll keep using it.

Although this cooling pad doesn't collapse for traveling, it's still quite portable. The non-slip grip pads on the CoolSpot are positioned in such a way, that I find it can be used with any size laptop. It's perfect for my little Dell Netbook, but my husband can use it with his 'normal' size laptop as well. It sits comfortably on my lap, or on a table top...and I love it!!

As far as keeping my computer cool, this is the best fan I have found. HOWEVER after 3 to 6 months, it starts making this horrific noise, like the fan blades are hitting something. It is then time to replace. I took it apart and cleaned it to no avail!!! This was my second fan like this one. The 1st one did the exact same thing within 3 to 6 months. I replaced it with one exactly like it, thinking maybe the 1st one was a bad fan. It is so aggravating that it doesn't hold up long at all! I refuse to replace my laptop fan every 3 to 5 months. I am now in search of a better fan.

my computer would shut down after a few minutes because it would overheat. Because of the fan, I can now use it for a LONG time without it shutting down

Works good for the price. Good design for air flow but my Sony laptop is a little unstable when using this cooler due to the same design. I have a Targus cooler that is more stable but the Fan's (it has two, Belkin has only one) make some noise sometimes when first starting up after a year of usage. Goes away after about thirty seconds of usage so far. This has only begun in the last couple of months. The Targus was also about $10.00 more expensive when I purchased it.

I got this only because the last belkin cooler broke after several years of solid performance, but this is a great design upgrade and purchase all together. Best Portable Cooler IMHO.

It has a little background noise, but not anymore than could be expected. It doesn't seem to draw too much power, and my Apple fan now doesn't come on like it was. I think it is a good value.

Good product at a good price. Only issue is that the fan can be a bit loud.

I really like this pad. It keeps my computer really cool but the only thing I would change is the USB cable. Its just barely long enough to reach the port. I would suggest that the cord be about a half inch longer. Otherwise, its a great product and an awesome price.
