The new gen is too long to fit into it so I tried this one. It is too small to fit my arm (no I am not on steroids) and has lots of other shortcomings too: You have a hard time controling it since the plastic facing is thick. The ipod doesn't totally fit into the unit...the top pops out above it. you have toi remove it in order to charge the ipod, no place to store earbuds... I may return these if I can find another option.
