This adapter worked very well for about a year, but then ceased to do so as it was used more. I used this for a connection in my car through my iPhone so that I could play music, so it could be that I was just a bit hard on it.

Sometimes I have to study and in order to do so I listen to music. The problem is that when the iPhone battery is low the music has to stop and the charging starts. With this product I can continue to listen to music while studying as I charge the phone simultaneously.

When Apple removed the headphone jack it never occured to me "what about the car" because my stereo has Bluetooth and USB capability. However, my work vehicle only has an Aux jack so this was a must have to be able to charge my iPhone and listen to music simultaneously.

I have skull candy headphone with an adapter that I was afraid it wasn’t going to work. I connected to my headphone adapter to the charge adapter while charging it my phone and it worked! It’s perfect to use anywhere, especially with a external battery. Definitely a great buy.

I’ve owned this splitter for about two months now and it hasn’t failed me yet. My only problem with it is that the splitter’s plug feels a little abrasive when inserted into my iPhone’s port, but that doesn’t seem to be, nor does it cause, a technical issue.

I use my plug in earbuds a lot with my iPhone. So when I got an iPhone 7 and no longer had both the charging port and the headphone port, this product was a lifesaver. It allows me to use my earbuds or any other lightning device and still be able to charge my phone at the same time.

Somewhat expensive. But of course it’s cheaper to get rid of an aux port on the phone and make a whole separate attachment so ppl have to pay 4x as much to listen with headphones. Charging and aux ports work, charges a lil slow though. Otherwise pretty good.

Use this if you want to charge your lightning-only apple device and listen to lightning headphones/earphones at the same time. I'm only giving it 3 stars because the price is rather steep, given its function.

It seems unfortunate to me that an adapter like this is necessary, but because of Apple's design, it is. This adapter lets you both listen to an external speaker and charge your phone at the same time, which can be helpful on a trip, especially if you are using your phone for a GPS.

The adapter is great! Works perfectly and my daughter loves that she can charge her phone and do other things with her phone At the same time, like listen to her favorite songs . Very good value! Going to purchase one for myself!

Does what it's supposed to do, but it's much larger and heavier than it needs to be and far too expensive! Belkin needs to get busy in down-sizing and lowering the cost substantially on this device.

We got this so we could charge our device while watching tv from an app on the device. Only works if we start the program first and then plug in the charging cord. Not a big deal, but difficult for the elders in the family to remember.

Unfortunately, you need this to charge the phone and use normal headphones at the same time. It works as expected, except every once in a while there won’t be any audio and I’ll have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to come back.

This connection configuration was perfect (iPhone11pro max) to use my headset while charging. Unlike the Y cable types this form factor is built better and matches my other dongle collection.

Belkin is a brand that I know and love anx have trusted for years. Their products are always high quality for a good price. Best Buy delivered this to me the very next day - the shopping experience was great and the shipping extremely fast.

Gets the job done. There’s a little buzzing sound but it’s drowned out by the music

This thing is a good idea but I haven even tried it yet because I cant find my headphone adapter. It would of been a better product if it incorporated the head phone jack already, since what else would I be using it for ? two charger ?

I have multiple cables and some of them (the cheap one) is not detected through the adapter and does not charge the phone. But the other 3 worked fine with this and allowed me to charge the phone and listen to my headphones.

The Belkin Lightening Audio Charge cable does the job, but there are a few issues. The first is the bulkiness of the adapter. It is a large adapter, and does not manage itself well with the two cords coming in. Secondly, there is a high pitch static that is continuous until music starts to play. I have experienced this sound with my iPhone 7 plus, my wife's iPhone 7 and without anything plugged in. This seems to show that the charge also makes its way into the audio portion. Curious to know what causes it. With the lack of other solutions on the market at present - I would recommend this. If a better alternative came along, I would consider switching.
