However, it does NOT transfer data. You will not be able to access iTunes while you're using this dongle.

The Belkin F8J198 does not support syncing or any other USB data, or similar protocol like Serial or UART, and it only supports Lightning Audio and delivers power in to your iPhone/iPad. Solved a problem

I wanted to have my music in my aux cord and charge my phone. It was a two hour drive there and it made it fine with no issues. But on the way back my phone kept disconnecting, and it worked fine without the dongle. I don't know if it was a wire disconnect, or just poor design but to spend 45 bucks on something that couldn't last a day isn't something I'd recommend to anyone. Will be returning.

Easy Charging plus headphones
