I was very disappointed when I inserted the charger and it kept popping off. I had to hold it for it to stay in place. Overall Bad quality.

expensive but needed

I was not thrilled I needed this adapter and the price is high-personally I think its over priced even though I got it on sale it was still over priced. But it was a needed accessory. Works ok from what I see so far but over priced.

The very first day I used it it started to loosen and not have a secure connection. I plugged the lighting/auxiliary crossover plug in directly and it worked fine. Now I’m back to playing music for a while then charging for a while. Is there a better alternative for IPhone 7?

The Belkin Lightning Audio + Charge RockStar (F8J198btWHT) the audio output using the RockStar (up to 24-bit / 48 kHz) is the same as the maximum specification of any compatible Lightning Audio headphones. You can try to use the adapter on a different lightning-enabled phone or a different headphone and see if there's any difference.

Not What I thought

I was directed to this and when plugging in to the base of the iPhone and then plugging in 2 head phone jacks, it does not work. Only 1 headphone set works. Not sure the intended use of this product if it is not to split headphones.

That’s not how the Lightning Audio + Charge RockStar is designed to work. One port is for the audio while the other one is for charging. You can’t use it to connect two headphones at the same time. Playing music while charging shouldn't affect the audio quality of your Rockstar as it supports higher power delivery required by premium or professional standard Lightning Audio headphones to deliver superior noise cancellation.
