The product is doing things that seem like ther may be a shortage

Worked for two days then stopped because of Apple’s lock on these accessories. None of them work.

I bought this to use headphone while charging. Doesn't work. Total crap. Do not buy this.

Got this item and used it for 4 months and now does not work, I hate i phone 7+ no headphone outlet

Charger adapter worked well for 3months and stopped working. It’s a waste of money.

The product is both bulky and clunky, which makes its usefulness limited if maintaining mobility is your aim for your iPhone 7 series, which lack a headphone jack. You will still need headphones and a charging adapter. A short cable connects the Lightning plug to the phone or iPad where two Lightning cables can be inserted — one Lightning cable for charging and one for audio but you can’t plug in two charging cables or two audio cables at once, if you had any desire to do so. The best thing I can say is the device works and does its job well but adds too muck bulk to your iPhone 7s reducing the mobility of the device. If your in need of a wired headphone then the device fulfills this purpose. But if you are in need of charging and listening at the same time then you are tied to your nearest power outlet or a portable battery, which again adds more bulk in addition to the Belkin adapter and the other cables...you see where I am going. Being stationary is where the product shines but all that being said I think you might just be better off with a decent set of Bluetooth headphones. But if you prefer wired headphones then this does solve your jackless iPhone 7s. If the cable was shorter and less bulky then I think it could be well received. But overall the product feel well made and all the cables feel durable. If you do not mind the additional bulk and possible limited mobility but want the use of your wired headphones, then yes good deal overall. But not for me.

I have tried and tried to get this to work with my iPhone 7 and it just doesn't work.

I received this product in exchange for a review. This is a fairly simple product from Belkin that hopes to solve a problem seeming created by Apple with the newest generation of iPhones. Since Apple removed the headphone jack from the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, any corded headphones must be plugged in through the sole Lightning port. This in term means that you can’t simultaneously charge the device and listen to music through wired headphones. Apple’s intent was to push more people towards Bluetooth headphones, but that’s not an option for everyone, especially for people who have invested in expensive wired headphones or when the Bluetooth headphones die. So, Belkin pushed out this device to solve that problem. The device plugs into the Lightning port on one and and splits the input into two Lightning ports on the other end. It’s almost 6 inches long and styled like a typical adapter you would already find for Apple devices. It supports only charging and audio (not syncing over USB) and only one of each at a time. As expected with Lightning, both the adapter to the iPhone and both of the ports are reversible. Additionally, if you still have a traditional audio cable on your headphones, you can use the adapter cable that comes with the iPhone 7/7 Plus in with this adapter. I tested just about every configuration possible, and charging, audio and headphone controls all worked perfectly. The cable is flexible and the ports give a firm connection. Now, this thing is kind of bulky for what it is, and if you have the audio jack adapter daisy-chained into this, it looks a bit ridiculous. But, you’ll typically be tied to a power outlet at that point, so you won’t likely be carrying this combination around with you. While I suppose you could use a portable charger, it doesn’t add that much more bulk considering. I think the retail price is a bit high for what is essentially a port splitter, but given Apple’s tight grip on certification of the Lightning port and licensing fees for Made for iPhone devices, this is probably as cheap as Belkin could make the hardware. It does as advertised. If you need to charge and listen to audio at the same time, this is a good solution for you.

so I didn't think anything of it when Apple got rid of their headphone jack, I never used it anyway. When I saw this attachment that allowed me to use headphones and charge at the same time I scoffed. I recently started running and with using my Apple Watch and fitness apps along with music it drained my battery very quickly, while bulky it works well because I can use my portable charger and still use my headphones on my run. It's a quality product that I honestly thought would be a waste of money and it isn't!

Poor quality adapter. Does not stay connected to the phone while driving.

I think is just wasted of money.. I like how the iphone 6 had both option.

Lasts a few months then keeps on going bad. Need better options

...and it broke in less than a week. Need to return and try it again.

Hardly lil thing this is. Road trips are good with it
