Works perfectly. Both lightning ports work as described. Each port will charge and play headphones perfectly. The sound is flawless. There is no interference or distortion in the audio. It's a little bulky, but It works with the volume control on the earbuds. Missing a star due to size. Could and should be smaller.

I'm not in favor for Apple removing the headphone jack but this little adaptor helps relieve my frustration. There's not that much to review on this product other than you're able to charge your phone AND listen to music/podcasts just like before. The over all product is smaller than I thought it would be, but it's easy to carry around.

Apple failed miserably when they removed the 3.5mm headphone jack. The biggest failure is that you can't use a wired headphone and charge your device at the same time. If the idea was to use Bluetooth, they should have included such headphone with the iPhone 7. Otherwise, there should be two lightning connectors, one for the headphone and one for charging. But here comes Belkin with an almost perfect solution. Charging and listening to music is now possible because RockStar adds that missing connector that Apple should have added. I could complain by the fact that it should have included an 3.5mm jack as well but I was happy that there was no static noise even while charging and listening to music at the same time. I just hope it lasts but it doesn't feel low quality. PROS . Compact . No issues with not fitting when using a case . No static noise . Eliminates the need for a Bluetooth headphone which still cannot match the quality of wired ones. CONS . No 3.5mm jack for non-lightning headphones

Apples decision to remove the headphone jack starting with the Iphone 7 was a startling confusing choice in my opinion. Yes they added an additional speaker to the phone for better quality, but overall it wasn't really needed. BUT, since they did make this choice, the new headphones now have the same lightning plug adapter as the charging cable, and both plug into the same port on the bottom of the iphone. This Belkin Lightning Audio + Charge RockStar adapter serves its purpose well. You now have the ability to use this item and plug both your lighting cable into the phone to charge it, as well as the new lighting earphones to listen to music at the same time. No genius is needed to use this product. Simple plug and play. Although in my opinion the only reason to use this item and listen to music would be if you had the wirless apple earphones, which are more expensive. Otherwise, you are stuck listening to music at the same place you are charging your phone. Overall good item, and recommended.

Had this product since beginning of April now and it’s still holding together. For $50 it better lol, but I love this so much. I was scared it would break in a month but surprisingly I’ve made it now to September! I use this everyday! I went from the I phone 6s to the Xr and couldn’t go without being able to have my earbuds in and charge my phone at the same time. This was a deal breaker for me and was the only reason why I accepted the new i phones. I’m able to charge my phone all night and keep my earbuds in to stay on facetime. Doesn’t over heat, nothing! Only thing is after a while the cord will bend to one way but just have to be cautious. At the bottom of the phone plug in part I do notice a crack starting to form that will eventually go up and break, but hopefully glue could fix it. Other than that this will last you and I would buy another if needed

This 'dongle' allows you to charge your iPhone 7/7 Plus and listen to music via 3.5 mm audio cable as well using Apple's required dongle. My wife's van does not have bluetooth and she enjoys listening to podcasts during her commutes through her stereo. This was never an issue until we upgraded iPhones. Now she is able to use this device to connect to her stereo's auxiliary port again. I would recommend this device to anyone that doesn't have a bluetooth connection in their vehicle. The device is a little longer than I'd like, especially after having to add Apple's dongle, but it's manageable. No issues so far.

Disclaimer - I received this connector to provide an unbiased review. It works as advertised, allowing you to listen to music through headphones connected to the lightning port while also charging your phone. I've been able to use this at work to charge my phone when needed, while still listening to music and I can't hear a difference in audio quality while using it. It doesn't matter which side you connect the headphones or charge cable to, the ports are interchangeable, but you cannot connect two headphones (bummer this would have been nice) or two charge cables (understand this one) at the same time. This could definitely come in handy when traveling and wish I had it two weeks ago while on vacation. Well built and if it wasn't for the Belkin logo I'd have thought it was an Apple product, but not sure I'd pay $39.99 for it.

This is great for those on the run who want to charge and listen to music at the same time with Apples new Lightning connector Headphones and either a wall plug or lighting cable with a portable battery pack. Additionally, for anyone with a car with Bluetooth or a car with a USB port that you can plug an Apple lighting cable in you may not need this handy device, however, in the absence of these this is a great solution to be able to charge your iPhone 7 or 7 plus AND listen to music with a traditional mini headphone jack into your car stereos aux headphone jack. The Audio and Charge Rockstar works right out of the box and is seamless in its operation, it just works, I did notice a negligible longer time to charge my phone when using this but with the convenience this affords it's certainly something that can be lived with.

I charge my phone while driving and using the earbuds to make calls. Note - you cannot use two sets of ear bugs or two chargers. Needs to be one of each. -1 star for the price, nearly $40 for one adapter.

I love this device, I plug my phone into speakers when I am working and now can keep it charged. A great addition to anyone that has an iPhone. Works great too when I plug into my car stereo! Works exactly as advertised!

Belkin's new Lightning Audio+Charger RockStar adapter is a decent addition for users of the iPhone 7. It is designed to work with the iPhone 6, SE, etc. but is ideal for the 7 due to Apple's removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack. This adapter works just as described and will solve the problem of running earbuds and a charger simultaneously. Pros: Allows for listening and charging at the same time Sturdy build and good quality finish Cons: Still requires the Apple Lightning to audio adapter Slightly larger than I would have liked Overall, this adapter works as suggested by Belkin and should help fill the void for iPhone 7 audiophiles.

This adapter is of high build quality. If it didn't say Belkin on it you would think it was made by Apple. I have switched to wireless headphones over the past year so the omission of the headphone jack in the latest iPhone did not bother me at all. However, I travel and still carry a pair of wired in-ears for backup and this adapter works great! I've tested audio and calls and everything works as you would expect. All of the buttons including the in-line mic, volume and end call buttons performed as they did without the adapter.

After trying a less expensive version than this and watching it fail after two uses, I decided to get this Belkin Audio + Charge Rock Star. It's a perfect solution to multitask on your iPhone 7 or 7 plus (or iPad). You can charge your phone while listening to music or talking on the phone with your corded headphones. I started using it at my office and liked it so much that I purchased a second unit for my home. Belkin has a great reputation. They must work closely with Apple because I never see those messages pop up saying this is an unauthorized device. This Belkin device works just as any Apple-produced device works. Great product. I highly recommend it!

Not much to say here, It works and works well. Used an audio lightning cable and charged my iPhone 7 Plus at the same time. It doesn't do data or atlease didn't work when I tried on my PC. The design is on par wit the rest of Belkin line up with white color and Belkin branding. Audio quality is the same as inserting a normal lightning jack into the phone and no degrading in audio at all. This little thing makes up for the shortcomings on the headphone jack on the phone but I wish they just fit more, should have added an HDMI as a 3rd port but I'm just being picky. I love it and recommend it to friends and family with an iPhone 7

This device solves a big problem that many people are forced to bear with thew iphone 7. It's a splitter that allows you to charge your phone while you listen to music using the lightning to auxiliary cord adapter. It works great and does what it was meant to do. This device will not work a a dual headphone splitter, and will only charging/headphone connectivity. The reasom I don't give it five stars is because Belking should've just added the auxiliary connection to eliminate the need for an extra adapter, which creates an even bigger mess.

So waited for this for a while, since it was first rumored. It does exactly what it says... it gives you the ability to charge AND connect your lightning headphones at the same time. Why only 4 stars... I was hoping that the first version would be Lightning for Power, and 3.5mm for Audio... so really this should be 4.5 stars. So you still need the lightning->3.5mm adapter, for your older technology. You can NOT connect two lightning headphones to this... and you can't connect two power sources (not sure why you would try this)

Neat little adapter that allows you to listen to lightning adapter equipped earphones and charge your iPhone or iPad at the same time. No loss of sound quality using this and your iPhone or iPad charges just as quick as before. Eliminates the biggest headache of the iPhone 7 with no headphone jack. One thing you need to know is this won't work if you don't have iOS 10 installed on your device. Used it with iPhone 7, iPad Pro, iPad Mini 4, iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6 with no issues at all. Well made, works like it should. I can recommend without reservations.

Works very good. Allows me to charge my iPhone 7 while listening to music at the same time. This is the solution to the #1 dilemma with the new iPhone.
