I tried this out in my car, with my iPhone 7+. I found that my phone charged very slow, compared to charging with my regular car charger. I also noticed that my ear buds did not work as well. The people on the other end kept saying my voice was fading in and out. The added piece was also sort of heavy, as a piece hanging on the end of the phone. Really wanted this to work, because I don't always use my wireless ear buds. I will keep it for emergencies.

Great for people with older model vehicles and play music off iTunes

I have owned this adapter for 2.5 years now and it initially performed well. I could facetime and charge at the same time while using headphones, however, now it will not charge my phone while facetiming with said headphones. The phone simply starts dying. The adapter has gotten worse over time, and to be a simple piece of equipment, you wouldn't think it would degrade.

I bought this so I could keep the charger cord in my IPAD and plug in my IXPAND drive while watching movies. The IXPAND drive does not register tho

There is nothing more frustrating than not being able to charge your phone or listen to music when you want/need to. For a device to be so simple, this device fails in such a magnificent way. After only a week, the connections are starting to get tricky. You have to position it in just the right way for the phone to recognize the connection. It's like one of those cheap $5 cables (2 for 1) and you end up having to use the second one within a week. You usually get what you pay for so I'm not surprised when I spend less than $10 on two cables. This product is $40 so it should NOT be doing this so soon. I miss my 3.5mm jack. Apple really missed on this and Belkin just failed big time. Do not waste your money.

This product charges from a Apple lightning cable to only lightning cables. You can charge one device & listen to one device but you cannot charge 2 devices at once or listen using 2 different devices at once. Plus why would I want to drain my phone battery for something like this when I can use a portable battery or a Beats Pill which is vastly more effective.

I have to say I'm a fan of bluetooth headphones. This device does solve the problem that it's intended to but not much else. I hate dongles so for me to actually carry one I better have a good reason to. I feel this device is definatly lacking the ability to use it as and audio splitter for wired headsets. All that said it's well made get the job done and fits in with most other dongles.

For the people that says this thing actually works please for the love of god stop lying. Lighting dual adapter doesn't work at all cause with your port been lighting u can only charge thats it unless you have the one with the actually headphone jack

Purchased the item new and it never worked. I'm using a new iPhoneX with new Apple lightning charger and new lightning headphones. (Note, The adapter with 3.5mm jack and lightning worked with my new charger and old headphones..this adapter just didn't work)

I doesn't work that well. I was trying to use it in my car, so I could listen to music and charge my phone at the same time. I have Apple's smart battery case. It will play for a few seconds and then stop. I returned the device.

It hasn't even been a month and my adapter isn't working properly. I really thought this adapter would be my holy grail for my new iPhone 7plus

DOES NOT WORK! Only plays one set of headphones returning!

Item was great at first. But only after one month stopped working. Has no physical damage. Not worth the money!!

Bought this because I have back to back calls for work then like to listen to Audible as I go to bed. Brand new phone... was not happy about giving up normal ear jacks. Bellingham worked for about a month- now- doesn’t connect. Got new earphones. Power to phone works. Makes me wish for my iPhone 6S
