Bought this specifically for a long drive. Worked great. Phone stayed charged and we could play music from the phone the whole way. We’ll be buying another for the other car.

I needed a splitter for my iPhone 7, one a lot for my charger and one for my ear buds. Works great but the only thing I didn't like was it was a little too big.

I went shopping for a Lightning adapter at Best Buy, where the Belkin version was the only one available. The Belkin adapter works reliably well -- that's the bottom line -- but I might add it seemed to be overpriced compared to less well known brands found online. The reason why I took a chance on Belkin is because I didn't want to get burned by buying a cheaper, no-name alternative online -- and then have to return it because it was made too cheaply to work as advertised. Yes, I paid more than I wanted to for the Belkin, but in the end I got what I paid for (which is good).

If you rely on your smartphone as a telephone, tool and music source, you need this adapter for its functionality. Stay powered up while you're on the phone for extended periods.

I really like this product because unlike the other charging adapter I purchased this one doesn’t mess up my iPhone. It also seems to charge faster with the adapter.
