The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because once in a while it doesn’t do both- play and charge. I’ll have to remove it and plug it back in for it to start working properly again. Other than that it is as described.

The only thing I consider a draw back is the ports are not interchangeable. I find that one port is for charging and the other for the ear buds. When not in good lighting have to switch back and forth to determine which is which.

I am able to make calls and listen to my music. Other products distorted my mic while in use, this one does not. Be sure to get a lightning to 3.5 mm adapter as well if you need it (I did for my non-lightning aux cable).

First, it obviously allows for you to listen to music and charge your phone at the same time. Next, its not "clunky," so it doesn't get tangled around the charging/headphone cords. Anyone who uses their phone a lot and listens to music should buy this accessory!
