This thing is a good idea but I haven even tried it yet because I cant find my headphone adapter. It would of been a better product if it incorporated the head phone jack already, since what else would I be using it for ? two charger ?

The Belkin Lightening Audio Charge cable does the job, but there are a few issues. The first is the bulkiness of the adapter. It is a large adapter, and does not manage itself well with the two cords coming in. Secondly, there is a high pitch static that is continuous until music starts to play. I have experienced this sound with my iPhone 7 plus, my wife's iPhone 7 and without anything plugged in. This seems to show that the charge also makes its way into the audio portion. Curious to know what causes it. With the lack of other solutions on the market at present - I would recommend this. If a better alternative came along, I would consider switching.

First time buying this adapter. So far it’s okay. The only thing I don’t like is the fact we need the adapter to charge and be able to use headset audio with the newer model iPhones.

Does what it says it does. Wish it had an AUX port on there as well as the two lightning ports so that I don't have to carry that pigtail adaptor from apple with me. Better yet, just tell apple to give us the dumb headphone jack back.

i have used the Belkin Adapter repeatedly. It has worked like a charm to use an apple ear phone with cord and power connection. Initially i thought it would be too bulky, but am pleasantly surprised at the comfort and use ability.

this is a tool that most people with Iphones need to connect to older model cars that are not fit with new technology. This works very well in connecting my iPhone enabling me to play my music through the radio

Its works very well. But the price is high. The last one i had I only paid 25 for it. Thats whyi gave it 4 stars.

Works wonderfully!! I had tried to get cheaper ones on Amazon but none of those allowed me to use it on phone calls, which was my main need. This one does. It works as promised.

Just what I was needing so I can listen to audio books while charging phone. When I was charging phone the audio did not work at all to even answer phone calls so needed to use ear buds,

Works perfectly, only reason for 4 stars is sometimes there are connectivity issues, like if I unplug the headphone part and put it back in the sound will come out the phone even though it’s in the adapter.

Works fine but it is not great. It does indeed allow you to charge and use your headphones (like we used to be able to do). However someone did tell me that my voice would cut off sometimes during my conversations.

So I don't know why this item doesn't come with the iPhones to begin with but I tested charge speed with just an original charger and it's about the same plus tested it while having my headphones plugged in minimal difference great product.

I bought a new iPhone 7 and wanted to listen to music, but also charge my phone. Belkin has always made good adapters, and this one is no expection. Where Apple made it a little more tricky for the consumer, Belkin came in with a solid solution.

This works well as a charging solution while listening to audio. The only real knock against it is that the plug on the lightning connector is a bit thicker than the standard plug, so it can be a tight fit on some cases.

Apple is smart, making the IPhone 7 unable to charge while using headphones. You would think with the technology advancement this wouldn't be an issue. Anyway, the belkin adapter works perfectly without the phone heating up. Problem solved

Just wish Apple's design for the iPhone 7 didn't cause me to go to the expense to purchase this product to be able to charge & listen at the same time. Poor design on Apple's part but great solution from Belkin---could be less pricey though.

Charge and listen through your earbuds or through your car's AUX jack at the same time. I have three of these now. Not cheap, but well-made! Not happy that the headphone jack went away, but I'm glad the iPhone is now pretty much water proof.

It works to charge and play music at the same time, but it will make an annoying scratchy record / radio interference sound sometimes and it’s really annoying.

This has been great to have as I often fail to charge, then when i need headphones I can't have both! This makes my world so much better now that I can not worry if I have a full charge for the car ride.

I been looking for this product for a reasonable price & found it here & I love it. I use it every single day haha. If you have the iPhone 7 & want to be able to listen to music & charge your phone at the same time purchase this !!!!!!!
