The first one failed and got loose at the end joints of the connector and was dropping calls on me. So although Belkin is 100x better than the knock-off stuff on Bezos' site, Belkin could change their injection molding process to stiffen the product for better strength My first one lasted about 1.5-2 years with moderate use.
