The charger is expected to work with wireless charging cases for Airpods and with MagSafe charging cases (for AirPods Gen 3 and Pro). They’re nothing like being able to park all of your devices in one location for the night. It’s even portable enough to use as a travel charging station. Also charging airpods sucks you have to hut and peck for the spot where the magsafe sticks. Wait for the white light otherwise it's not attached nor charging. Also make sure the watch is physically touching the charger. Just because it's "on" the dock doesn't mean it's on the dock at all. I regret my purchase.

Make sure not to use phone case thicker than 3mm, and try charging multiple devices to see if the same thing happens.
