Will NOT charge phone inside of case…

While it’s a very slick design and I’m sure works well overall, I immediately discovered it will not hold my phone while in its protective case. It is not a very bulky case by any means; it is an OtterBox Symmetry series case. They should make you aware that you either have to take your phone out of the case every single time you want to charge it or if you buy some $8 cheap case that isn’t worthy enough to protect your phone. Very disappointed in this technology. Returning tomorrow.

The Belkin WIZ017 can work with phone cases as long as it is MagSafe-approved and it is no more than 3 mm thick. Nonetheless, if you still have the device with you, we’d like to have our phone support team take a look at your setup so they can have this sorted out. Very bice stand best buy service not so nice
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great stand but paid 149 a week or so later i noticed the price was reduced to 119 now 114 trued to get the diffrence refunded but they wouldnot do it becouse the return date was over the return time now i was not trying to return it just get a credit for the price diffrence

No replacement power cable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The product is great except for the fact you can’t purchase or obtain a replacement AC power adapter/ power cable. The shape of the connector is proprietary and does not follow the universal standard of USB. I could forgive that if you could actually purchase a replacement power cable, but you can’t. I spent about 2 hours chatting with customer support only for them to tell me the same thing over and over again. I basically just have a $150 paperweight. Not only is this choice not consumer friendly. But the e waste implications really adds to the issue. If a small and easily broken cable is lost or broken, you have to throw out the entire thing and buy a completely brand new one. Which is nothing short of ridiculous. I will be sure to get my products from another manufacturer next time.
