I’m using an iPhone 12pro with the Apple Mag Safe Case. You just put your phone on it and it stays, yet it removes very easily also.

This vent mount works great. The phone hasn’t fallen off once even with taking tight corners and bad bumpy roads. I’m giving this 4 out of 5 stars because it’s pricey for what it does. The cable management for the mount will only compensate regular cables as the 3rd party one I use is too thick for it.

It attaches to your vent, so if your vehicle does not have very thick slats, or if they are floppy, the phone may sag down, or the cradle may fall off. My only suggested improvement is to add charging, but since my vehicle doesn’t have wireless CarPlay, I would probably attached the power cord anyway.
