I found it only worked well on 1 of my cars and it was a tight fit to get it on and off the vent. I felt like it could break the vent, but didn’t ever have that happen. It held the phone well and it never came off while driving, but the weight of the iPhone 12 Pro did cause the position to move while driving. In the end, I returned it, e are better options available that also charge the phone while in use.

This is totally unheard of! The Belkin WIC002 is designed to work with vehicle's vent slats of up to 3 mm in thickness and of up to 20 mm in depth. The vent mount works best with straight, horizontal vent slats, but can also work with vertical vent slats. When using with a vertical vent slat the mount may move slightly if the mount is overloaded with weight. We could've let our Product Experts check the unit before setting it aside. It otherwise feels sturdy enough, though that could change depending on the air vent. Built in cable management was a nice surprise.

Also every bump I hit the holder came off as if it wasn’t secured tightly on my vent when it was. I also thought this holder was a MagSafe charger but IT IS **NOT** a charger, the charger is separate which is a bit misleading if you ask me.
