The Belkin WIC002 is designed to work with vehicle's vent slats of up to 3 mm in thickness and of up to 20 mm in depth. When using with a vertical vent slat the mount may move slightly if the mount is overloaded with weight. Please contact our support hotline for further assistance. If using a phone case, make sure that it is MagSafe-approved, and up to 3 mm in thickness only. Moreover, the Belkin WIC002 is designed to work with vehicle's vent slats of up to 3 mm in thickness and of up to 20 mm in depth. It stays in place securely and my iPhone 13 Pro Max with an Otterbox case hasn’t ever fallen off. Beats any of the cup holders models I’ve wasted too much money on ANY day!

We appreciate your feedback. The Belkin MagSafe Car Vent Mount is designed to work with vent slats up to 3 mm thick and 20 mm deep. It works best with straight, horizontal vent slats, but it can also work with vertical vent slats with slight movements, especially when heavily loaded.
