To be clear, the HTC was fine and could charge. Travel Adapter was fine and could charge anything. Outlets were all fine. Point of failure was clearly the cable. I bought this Belkin Cable as a replacement. Started smelling a weird burning odor but me, being an idiot, assumed it was coming from the kitchen. Only after a few days did I realize that the smell was coming from my poor travel adapter melting on the inside, this terrible cable to blame. I'm not an electrician or engineer, so I can't even imagine how bad you have to screw up to create a cable that destroys other pieces of technology, but here we are.

Doest fast charge correctly

Usually this isn't a issue but I've been warned that if a plug doesn't fast charge reguardless of the direction then it will harm your phone's charging port. Unfortunately I'm just outside of my return period. Not worth the money for the month that it lasted.

I have contacted Belkin support asking if they will replace the product if they replace it I will change my review to a higher star rating based on good customer service, but until I can get an answer, 1 star.
