Great choice for Samsung S20

My car audio does not have Bluetooth or USB type c connection. This adapter lets me plug in to my cars AUX input and it sounds great!

The Belkin RockStar 3.5mm Audio + USB-C Charge Adapter is compatible with USB Power Delivery or Quick Charge 2.0 charger. For isolation, you can try to use a different charging cable or with a different charger to see if that will make any difference.
