I have bought a few of these as they are nice to use headphones and charge your phone at the same time.

It great for being able to still use my aux port and charge my phone simultaneously when I need to instead of having to choose one or the other

This thing works! It comes in handy if you have a pre Bluetooth car stereo, and need to charge while listening to your iPhone. Highly recommended!!!

Other that it being an big attachment it is something to have you want to charge the phone and use an auxiliary cord for music in a non Bluetooth car or headphones

Since Apple is so brave they get to charge you another $35 so you can have headphones and power to the iPhone at the same time. It is well made though and Belkin’s products leave little to complain about.

Finally an adapter to charge and listen at the same time. I will say however that when attached to my headset sometimes the phone cuts out sound is not so great so I’m not sure if it is the adapter or the headset
