Good yo have! It is necessary with new phone ad they are different. A tally, Apple should maje the new phones like before.

This works pretty well if you want to listen to your iPhone via wired earbuds while charging. However, it's not cheap. Also the sheathing of the cord frays to easily. This works fine, but try to look for better options

It is very useful to connect up to a vehicle that does not have Bluetooth capability. IT worked great for a work truck I've had to drive in lately.

My son bought this because his phone battery was not lasting throughout the day. Come to find out was not a battery backup.

Need an adapter in order to use headphones with the newer apple devices, which takes up the charging port. this allows you to do both.

This little adapter is essential of you are going to stay with Apple in the post headphone jack era. Cars still have audio in.

As far as doing what it is supposed to do it works great. The durability is just so so. This is my third one. They last about 6 months. 6 months for 40 bucks.

silly iPhones not having an AUX jack.. this guy here lets me charge up whilst listening to music at the same time in the car on those long drives.
