I purchased this item to use in an older car that only had a 3mm audio input. Using this adaptor allows the phone to charge and utilize my phone for listening to Pandora.

This is definitely useful when charging my phone at work and wanting to use corded headphones. The only downside is that it's bulky and a bit obstructive in its design.

Bought a cheaper adapter online that was supposed to do what this one does, but it only worked for listening & charging but did not allow me to make phone calls. This Belkin adapter allows simultaneous charging while listening to wired headphones & allows to make/receive phone calls. And the headphone buttons work normally for volume/skip song/answer calls etc, but the headphones have to be compatible with your operating system. So basically i wasted $15 on the first adapter by not getting this one. It’s worth it if you have wired headphones that you don’t want to give up using.

When you only have a head phone jack in your car, this comes very handy! I am now able to charge my iPhone XS and play music at the same time! Useful only when you have a lightning connection.

I bought one on ebay for cheap and of course just wasted my money ,it didnt work,it was sucky !!! So i decided to look around bestbuy,found one a bit pricey but it works perfectly, love it !

This item works very good, I’m a truck driver and it’s been my best friend in the truck be it that I’m able to charge and listen to music at the same time without the any buzz or hum.

Awesome item..a must have for iPhone users make use you get the aux and lightening..don’t get the one with both lightening...it’s just annoying have to use the little white a piece

We are taking a long flight and will need to charge and use at the same time. This should do the trick.

I must fault Apple for doing away with the 3.5mm jack. I very much dislike buying an adapter to let me use headphones and charge simultaneously. This adapter from Belkin gets it done though and haven’t had any problems.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Allows me to listen to music and charge my iPhone at the same time. But like most things for apple, it costs more than it should.

You need something like this if you want to listen to something from a phone that does not have external speaker jack. Allows you to also charge your phone at the same time!

According to my son this is a life saver. I purchased this for him when we went on vacation so he could charge his phone and still listen to his headphones at the same time

I plugged it into old cassette in old car to play phone ie Waze and talk on phone thru car radio And it charged phone at the same time Great gadget

A must-have item! Probably the only way to charge and use aux for connected speakers or headphones.

I hesitated to upgrade my phone because the new iPhones didn’t have the aux port, but this adapter made it possible for me to both charge my phone and listen to my phone at the same time!

Works great. Allows me to plug in where I don’t have a Bluetooth option and still charge. Handy little tool.

Works as intended and seems very durable. May not live on as it appears the plug may be phased out next year but for now it’s perfect for convenience

This is actually my second adapter, the first one works so good I bought a second one to travel with. Love the fact that you can charge the iPad while streaming.
