I had been frustrated with the inability to charge my phone while listening to music or audible through the auxiliary input in my car stereo. This device has solved the problem. I can now listen to books while traveling without running out of power on my iPhone.

I have an older vehicle, no Bluetooth, and run my music through the aux cord, the only problem was that on long trips there was no way to charge my phone. This device works perfectly, allows my to play my music while being able to charge my phone!!!

This device enables me to charge and listen to music on my iphone 8 at the same time. It is approved by Apple, so you won't get the "not recognized" caution when using. I love that I don't need to use the 3.5mm to lightning adapter that came with my phone, I can just plug the 3.5mm from my headphones directly in to the device. I highly recommend this!

This unit allows you to use the audio feed from you iPhone or iPad and get power simultaneously. It’s a real winner. You can play music indefinitely with out worrying losing power.

Bought this because I was flying. Was able to charge while listening to music on my iPhone 13. Bluetooth would have run battery dry over 15 hour flight. Worked as I wanted it too.

I purchased this in combination with a power block. Have an older car and wanted to charge phone while having the luxury of hands free music/talking. This allows me to utilize my aux and avoid upgrading to a head unit or installing a USB port.

I wanted the capability to charge my iPhone and use an aux cord in my older car. This fit the bill. Good quality, works great. I am able to listen to my phone tunes in the car while charging my iPhone. (my iPhone does not have the aux cord receptacle)

Great for use with headsets using round 3.5mm plugs. Can listen and charge iPhone at the same time. Light, simple, easy to use.

Anyone who has and iPhone and wants to listen to music with headphones should have one of these. I'm shocked Apple still doesn't offer one of these since they remove the headphone jack (thus preventing charging and listening at the say time).

I bought this for my son because he has an iPhone and I can honestly say Belkin got it right. The adapter for the android does not allow for charging and playing at the same time.

The only adapter of this kind that works consistently for me. Every other brand I bought either doesn’t work in the way I expected, or it’s completely malfunctioned and worthless. I will say that this frays pretty easily, but I also use it pretty heavily. I wish the joints were a bit stronger, considering the price. Unfortunately I keep losing this adapter so I now have to buy another one..

Honestly I thought this wasn’t going to work like other I bought off amazon but to my surprise it works perfect and I’ve had no issues. I guess you get what you pay for and the price is kind of high but it works great.

Great way to charge the iPhone & connect to older car's headphone jack to play over car's stereo. Also can be used to charge & listen by headphones/earphones with connecting jack.

My car has an Aux input, and I truly hate how the audio system always tries to connect my phone (via bluetooth) each time my wife is leaving the house with the kids to school. I could be in a call/meeting and the person(s) I'm on the phone all the sudden jump into the car and all they hear are my wife and kids in between. That's why I decided to remove my car from my phone's bluetooth device-list and use this device instead... It allows me to charge and hear the songs WHEN I AM IN THE CAR. I could blame Toyota for being so intrusive forcing me to connect every-time with my phone (even though, multiple phones are connected to the headunit).

Belkin Lightning To Headphone Jack / Charging Adapter... I've seen mixed reviews before purchasing but I can say since ive owned it ive had no problems with this little adapter. I wish the cord was just a tad bit shorter but overall I cant complain. It hasnt been cutting in and out and I will say the cord is very sturdy. After going to 5 Below so many times paying $5/6 for an adapter that shorts out after about a week or so, it makes sense to go ahead and pay $40 for quality that will last long. I've had it for about 2 months now and havent had any issues.

I needed this adapter to be able to plug my iPhone into a 3.5mm jack aux channel on my DAC. I am now able to listen to audio from multiple sources at the same time without having to worry about my phone losing power. Super useful, as it allows me to hear game audio from my Xbox/pc through the optical or usb audio port on my DAC, and communicating through phone call/discord/Skype to talk to my friends that are playing on different platforms. The build quality is good, being made of dense plastic. I gave this product four stars instead of five because I think 40 dollars is a pretty high asking price for a product that serves a single purpose (albeit very well). Had the price been closer to the 20-25 dollar range this would’ve been a 5 star review.
