It did feel as if the 3.5mm aux port was a little loose when I first used the adapter. But it seems to function as advertised.

Needed this to use in my older car

It's Fine, But Could Be Better

However, it's not cheap. Also the sheathing of the cord frays to easily. This works fine, but try to look for better options
