Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this adapter to use it with my iPhone 7 plus to record video with an external lapel 3.5 mm microphone and charge my phone at the same time, but it didn't work, I used the adapter to charge my iPhone while I was making a stream on my youtube channel and de video had this annoying buzzing sound, sadly I wasn't aware of this and my stream video went awful, the worst part came when I went to Bestbuy to return it, the customer service associate told me that after two weeks of buying the adapter you can't return it off the package is open, I went on vacation, didn't have a chance to try it until today, and then this happens, so sad for been victim of this best buy policy. Do not recommend this adapter for this purpose.
