This is a handy must-have portable docking solution for my 2020 M1 MacBook Pro 13" that I carry everywhere in my computer bag for quick and easy connection to HDMI displays, hard-wired networks, and USB peripherals. I haven't tried to hook up a second display (this adapter includes 2 HDMI ports) but it appears that you can only use on HDMI port at a time with the 2020 M1 MacBook Pro 13". However, the network port and USB ports work as promised and I would highly recommend this affordable travel dock.

This is a terrible product. It has two purposes: 1) to connect additional monitors, 2) to have an additional USB port. Neither of them work as intended. Initially my monitors worked fine, but this morning when my laptop booted up it did not recognize either of my two monitors. As for the USB, the only function that this has served was to provide power to a USB powered device. It would not read USB thumb drives or recognize wireless keyboard. Steer clear of this one.

I needed a hub for my iMac to hook up usb c connections to usb a. I also needed to hook up an additional monitor and this one fit the bill.

I had a Dell docking station that I replaced. I have not had any issues. Works great with a Macbook.

So lightweight and smaller than my other docking station & works best with my new laptop.

Many computers have become extremely portable but in doing so have replaced many of the ports with USB-C/Thunderbolt ports. This can be frustrating because you need a million different dongles in order to connect anything to your computer. Many companies have solved that problem by coming out with Docks that bring back legacy ports. The problem with most Docks is that they either do not have the ports you need or they are extremely large an expensive. I have found a few docks that are affordable and portable but none that offer professional features such as dual displays. Belkin has solved all of these problems with its latest Dock. It is small, portable, relatively inexpensive, and offers all the ports you need for professional work flow. Possibly one of the best features is the ability to plug in two monitors via HDMI and they worked flawlessly. So far out of all the docks I own/ have use this is by far my favorite. I also am a fan of the build quality. It is built out of high quality metals with a nice aluminum finish. Only thing I would beware of is that your computer must have thunderbolt 3 port in order to use this dock. Some windows laptops have USB-C ports but they are not Thunderbolt 3 and will not support displays. This is not a fault of the dock though it is the computer. Anyone who owns one of the new USB-C MacBooks must get this accessory. It comes highly recommended. I have searched for this type of Dock for almost 3 years now since I have owned my MacBook.

Payed a little extra for the quality. Totally worth it. Will last a lifetime

This dock had a much higher impact on speed of external SSD's than I was expecting for its price. It does a good job with driving two displays though.

This Belkin device works very well. My only problem with it is the what seems to be a 3" cable. Just another 8" would have been great.

Works great. Allows me to connect 2 HDMI monitors, remote mouse and remote keyboard to Dell laptop.

Works great, much better than my previous dock. The mouse and keyboard never lag.

According to specs, brand compatibility is universal. According to packaging it supports windows 8 and up. But this does not work on surface book 2. Now that is a microsoft problem, sure. But best buy showed me this item when i search surface book 2 docs. Nothing within the specs or details suggested an issue. So no points for best buy, belkin, microsoft or me. Major waste

I checked all drivers and worked with HP support and they said its the dock. However I couldn't get any support from Belkin as they kept telling me the support was out of their scope and kept passing me to another tech who would ask the same questions and pass me again. After 1 hour of this I called it quits and ordered an HP dock. Returning now!

I bought this dock with high hopes, having had good experiences with previous Belkin purchases. The HDMI ports worked fine, but nothing I did would make the USB ports function properly. Exchanged this product for a similar j5create dock.
