You unplug it from your MAC plug it back in and sometimes it works again sometimes only for a while. In an 8 hour day it freaks out at least once. Customer support is useless, they blame everything from the cable you are using then the monior, etc. I've switched to a different brand and have no issues now. Complete waste of over $100.

Worked at first but then after a couple uses, it began to sometimes connect, now not at all. . Could be that it doesn't work well with apple products, I don't know. Apple need to come out this a brand exclusive item like this

It didn’t seem like there was a lot of options out there but I am happy with my purchase. I use it to connect an additional monitor to my iMac and it works great.

The unit feels generally solid. I should have done a lot more research as it doesn't appear to work with USB C at all, only Thunderbolt 3.
