This cover works OK with the Samsung Tab A 8". First, it is a bit of a challenge to get the corners to fit on the cover. You do get the tablet in, the corner holder on the top right side is right next to the power button, and can sometimes get over the button, causing it to either power down or up when you don't want it to. Also, the tab the has the magnet for holding the cover closed, is right near the volume buttons, so when you want to turn the volume down, and just go by feel, you accidentally turn it up. I've also been having the problem of the corners coming undone, leaving my tablet prone to falling out of the case. This case might work better with other tablets, but not the Tab A 8"

I purchased this the same time I bought my Samsung.

I bought the Belkin Trifold case for my Galaxy Tab A 8.0, but ended up up exchanging it for a Samsung case. Inside the Belkin case there is a plastic base to which the tablet is secured by means of four straps which grab the corners of the tablet. This arrangement made the case a bit bulky and allowed the tablet to swim around a bit. My main complaint however, was that the case did not provide a stable mounting platform. When placed on a table, and adjusted to its upright position, the tablet was easily toppled when touching the screen. On a softer surface, like a mattress, it constantly fell over.

The case is a decent fit for the 8-inch Galaxy Tab A. If you need a case, then I would recommend it. There are cheaper options for cases but it you do prefer this one, you maybe able to price match it.

Bought it because Best Buy really didn't have much of anything to choose from as far as cases for the Samsung Galaxy tablet. Works like it should. Nice to be able to stand the tablet up a little too.

I have search so many places looking a case for my Samsung tablet. Most places carry only universal covers. But they don't work for the camera access. This was perfect for my needs.

Fits perfect for my Galaxy 8 tablet. Fits on tripod with Vastar holder. I don't have to take it out of the case for taking videos. Having the hole in the back for the camera lens works great!

I bought this for a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10", and the case is too small. The rubber corner mounts would not stretch to hold the tablet in the case.

This case has already fallen apart, use daily as a reading tablet, faux leather what do you expect.

Had it for some time now, and the only issue I have had is that sometimes falls off. Then I have to strap it again.

For the most part this case is as advertised. Only issue is that is not very stable when you place it on a table top. Very wobbly

One of the best purchases I ever made. It protects my tablet and has a great flip back that allows me to easily view movies.

Works great with TabA, close cover tablet goes to sleep, also has nice stand for propping up for landscape view.

This is cool but after a while it becomes very dirty. I clean it all the time. Hard to clean.

I'm disappointed with the fact that it will not hold a tablet securely.

I'm using it on Samsung tablet. I have to block the magnetic strips so it doesn't shut it off.

My Samsung Galaxy tablet will not stay in the case. According to the description it is supposed to.
