Keep the docking station simple.

It gave me nothing but trouble, even with great reviews. I looked on line and found this dock at Best Buy. I purchased this for a fifth the cost of the original docking station, and this unit gives me everything I need without any issues whatsoever.

I am able to connect 2 external monitors without any issues. I keep getting warnings before booting up and from Windows after booting up that I am using the wrong charger. But everything is fine. I have the unit plugged into the USB-C port on the laptop and the charger plugged into the unit. The laptop does charge.

Good Value for the price

So you end up having to buy a separate multiport adapter. The thing is they can get expensive and not even stay plugged in. I had that happen with the old multiport adapter i used to have back then. So I made sure to not get the same kind and decided to get this one. It was such a good purchase because it wasn't expensive and stays connected to the port.
