This item description should have that warning.

Has it been working fine before? For now, try to unplug the adapter from the laptop to reboot and make sure to reconnect it properly. Testing it with a different compatible computer will also help us to isolate. If the same thing is observed, please contact our support hotline for further investigation.

Stoopid thing is charged but won’t charge anything

would not buy unless needed as emergency

HDMI port video flashes on and off occassionly on other monitor. Cannot have more than 1 usb item plugged in or other usb port sometimes doesn't work. otherwise it works.

Not Enough Power

I needed a way to connect the Apple Superdrive that has a USB A connection to my laptop. Even though Belkin says that I delivers 100 w of power, this was not sufficient or it wasn't properly delivering the power the Superdrive. I kept getting error messages saying I needed to connect to a USB port with power. I returned the Belkin hub and bought an Apple USB A to USB C adapter and that worked.
