I have three of these ports which gives me the ability to hook up all kinds of USB additions. Really good and fast for connection and using with SSDs and HDD USB

This fit the bill. It draws little power and can support multiple drives. It is well worth the cost.

Note: the HDMI requires the laptop to support HDMI through USB. It doesn’t act as a HDMI USB video card. This might not be an issue today, IDK, but I have an older laptop I use that doesn’t allow me to use the HDMI on this. I have newer ones that work just fine. Otherwise it’s great!
