Buy this for your student before WiFi band width is an issue for them to complete an assignment. This allows them to plug directly into the router and also charge their device at the same time. Very reasonable price too

I purchased this for my Chromecast with Google TV and am very pleased with how easy it was to just plug n play, with my gigabit connection, I achieve the maximum speed for the CCWGTV around 350 mbps with minimum latency. No complaints and with Belkins superior quality control I know I'm getting a quality product! I highly recommend this product and would easily buy again!

Belkin is a well respected brand and for good reason, the USB C to ethernet device is built solid with little to no imperfections anywhere. It worked as I needed it ( which was to add hardwired data to a item that uses USB C to power it otherwise it works off wifi). The wont work for all devices so you have to check prior to using it in this capacity. The product is a simple plug and play and the only really issue I had with it was that the status lit is always blinking yellow and this usually means 100 mpbs however when I checked the speeds through my router to device it showed it was going at Gig speed. Good product which does what it was designed.

Wotks very well, connects instantly with my Samsung tab s7 ultra. The charger input makes all the difference. I purchased an insignia usb-c adaptor without a charging port, and my tablets battery drained very quickly while using the insignia adaptor,so that brings me to my only con which is with best buy itself and the geek squad employees who assisted me with my purchase of the insignia about 3 weeks ago, im laying 100% of the blame on them but they should've has the knowledge that while a non charging adaptor that your device will drain very quickly and should've inquired about how i was going to use the adaptor and suggested the Belkin adaptor with the charging port the first go around and i could have saved $32 ... calling yourself an electronic/computer geek should entail you to have a working knowledge of all your products

I replaced my wife Apple Thunderbolt display with an LG 5K monitor and I needed a way to simplify her connections. I was able to use this adapter and plug in directly into the monitors built in USB C hub. This made it very simple so my wife only had to connect 1 USB C connection to her MacBook Pro. Solid product and works like its supposed to.

It works, is fast and is easy to install! The network adapter is stable and does not require that you install any drivers in order to use the product. Highly recommended for those laptops that are too thin to support an Ethernet port!

Worked flawlessly with an M1 Macbook Air. Belkin is a trusted name in the industry, and I had no issues setting this up and connecting.

I purchased this specifically to replace Google's very own ethernet type c adapter for the 4K Chromecast with Google TV. I was hoping to get better performance, and I did. That said, I continued to use Google's brick but I plugged it into the female type c in the Belkin. Thus, I wasn't worried about low power problems people have mentioned and didn't have any. The second Belkin unit I purchased. I figured I would test a 3rd party brick with a 45 watt output. That one works perfectly too. Every spec tested in the internet speed test app you can install on Chromecast with Google TV is showing 3x better performance.

This is good for my 1 Gbps ethernet connection. I was afraid of losing the only USB C port for just ethernet. This dongle provides the additional USB C port, so other devices can be connected to the laptop while connected to the ethernet. Can get warm to touch when used by multiple devices simultaneously.

Bought this to add wired internet to my chromecast with Google tv. Works perfect for that situation.

I am using it for Ethernet on a newer iPad. It works great. I can charge the iPad and have it on Ethernet at the same time. Seems very well made and does just what I needed.

I use this for my Steam Deck. Does as advertised. Chargers the DEck (using the Deck's included charger) allows me to use a wired internet connection. Just a solid adapter for power and internet.

This works exactly as I had hoped. When I am streaming my DJ sets, it is much better to be connected directly as opposed to wifi. The unit itself gets a bit warm though. Otherwise it is great. I also has a port for charging.

Purchased this for my MacBook Pro a while back and here to update anyone that's reading this and is undecicive about whether to buy this or not. Definitely DO BUY IT!

I bought this because my new laptop didn't have an Ethernet port and it lagged quite a bit on the Wi-Fi. This adapter allowed me to hard line my laptop and it works write well. My only complaint is that it gets really hot.
