Gets the best out of my high speed internet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. On an LG Gram laptop, using the LG USB-C network adapter, I was getting good internet speed (80-90 Mbps) but the connection was suffering from high latency (>200ms, loaded) using the fast.com speed test. Ethernet only had a problem, wifi had better performance so I knew it was not my internet provider. Back-to-back, no reboot, just replacing the LG adapter with the Belkin INC001BTBK makes the ethernet performance jump to 350Mbps and <40 ms latency. The adapter gets warm as other reviewers have commented, however it's a small price to pay, it's a keeper!

Works as designed
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is great for laptops and Chromebooks that don't have an Ethernet adapter built in. A couple rooms in my house don't get good wifi signal from the router, and the rooms are already Ethernet wired. Pass through speed is excellent. Speedtest on my wired desktop showed 47.5mbps (with 50mbps service. Connecting this adapter to my Chromebook and tested at 41.3mbps (Wifi was 4.8mbps) Charging pass through works great as well. Definitely recommend!

Works on Mac and Windows! No Drivers, No Fuss
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an ultra-thin Dell laptop which I love but there are compromises and the big one is no ethernet port. My wife has a Macbook, same issues. WiFi is great and all, but working from home and when I am doing a presentation to clients I really would prefer the reliability of an ethernet connection because WiFi connectivity is always unpredictable. The Belkin USB C Network Adapter solves for no ethernet ports in a compact dongle. Plug it in and it just works. No software, drivers, downloads, it just works. Hooray! Reliable, fast at up to 1000Mbs, and with a separate USB C port so you don't lose the port on your laptop. It's perfect. There's honestly not much else to say, but I did get creative and for the fun of it tried it on my iPad Pro 11" and it worked on that too - kind of surreal turning off WiFi and surfing the internet on an iPad with an ethernet cable. But hey, it works. I also tried it on a Nintendo Switch but it doesn't work (either via the dock or straight into the switch). Summarizing Windows 10 PC - Perfect, No Drivers, Works MacBook - Perfect, No Drivers, Works iPad Pro - Works Nintendo Switch - No Overall, the Belkin USB C Network Adapter is perfect for your Windows or Mac devices that need ethernet. No drivers, no setup, no fuss, just works.

Works great on 2 laptops I tried
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One was a Macbook and one was a laptop that doesn't have an ethernet port but has USB-C. This adapter is truly something else and is simple, straight forward, and gets the job done! You plug it in, then plug in your CAT-5+ cable, and you're good to go on a LAN experience for your computer without have to deal with a ton of messy and long wires.

Works as it should
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm using this with a Samsung Notebook 9 Pro, and it works perfectly. Power pass through is on par with just using adapter aloe. It gets a bit warm, but not to a point of concern. Plugged in a Ethernet cable, and within 1 minute, I was good to go. Nothing to install, just recognized it as wired. The size is smaller than I expected, and that's a plus. Good to go!

Perfect Ethernet adapter accessory
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Belkin USB-C Ethernet adapter not only works great, but has a simple compact design that goes easily into my travel bag and allows me to enjoy wired networking options wherever I go. The adapter works great on Mac, Windows, and ChromeOS, so its perfect for those situations where a wired connection is all that's available or what's required (for example during a network set up or testing scenario). I was delighted to see Belkin include a USB-C Power pass-through to allow for single-port devices, such as some Chromebooks and MacBooks, to still be able to charge via AC adapter while connected to the wired network. In my testing, speeds were excellent and the devices is simply detected as a Realtek 10/100/1000 Ethernet adapter. No fuss set up worked as if my laptop(s) had built-in Ethernet. Highly recommended as with most other Belkin adapters. Excellent addition to the product line.

Great for Macbook Pro
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Macbook's dont come with ports other than USB-C connections. Sometimes you would like a little more speeds than wi-fi allows for networking. This adapter works very well and I have no issues running it on my Macbook. Highly recommended.

Perfect for my Chromecast
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed an Ethernet adapter for my Chromecast with Google TV. The Wi-Fi in my apartment doesn't reach my TV, so I needed to hard wire it to prevent buffering and loss of connection. This worked perfectly! It was truly plug and play. I could have probably gotten it cheaper from another store, but best buy was closer to my house and I needed it quick, so couldn't wait for shipping or drive all the way across town.

Handy!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When WiFi just wont cut it, you need to be hard lined in. This Bellini Adapter fits the bill. Plug it in your (USB-C) and then plug the patch cable in and that’s it! I went from 80 mb on WiFi to over 300 using this adapter!

Exactly what I need it to do.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simple and works. I was able to plug it in via usb c in my MacBook Pro and viola I can plug a network cable in like the olden days. I do like that belkin though about removing access to one of your limited ports and allows you to charge through this device with its own usb c input build in. I also like adapters for usb c that have a short cord. This makes it safer so it won’t snap off your Mac. Many adapters do not have this and are fixed on your side of you Mac and if makes me nervous that it could be easily snapped off. Good job Belkin. I need a few more adapters for my Mac and will bringing my business to you due to quality.

Great to have a backup wired network connection
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Belkin USB-C to Ethernet adapter is another awesome tool to have in your tech bag arsenal. If you are ever having problems with your WiFi connection or just need faster network speeds this gives you the option of plugging in your WiFi only device into a wired Ethernet connection. I have gigabit broadband access which is faster than my wifi router provides. I tried the Belkin adapter with several devices I own having a USB-C port. With all of them it was "plug & play", working flawlessly providing much faster internet access after disabling WiFi. One thing I had to figure out was what the USB-C port on the adapter was for. There were no instructions in the box explaining how it worked. My first inclination was that it was an extra USB port to plug other devices into when you have the port on your device occupied. That is not the case, it is solely for plugging a charging adapter into so that if your device supports USB-C (Thunderbolt) charging you can charge your device while the adapter is plugged in, hence, the name "pass-through charge adapter". Just be aware that it is for delivering power to your device and not for data (connecting other peripherals to your device). If I had to find one con it would be the choice of using a gloss piano black "fingerprint magnet" color for the exterior of the adapter. But since it's pretty small that's not a really big deal.

Nice adapter for my laptops
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have tested this adapter with an iPad Pro (latest model), a 2019 MacBook Air and a new Microsoft Surface Pro 3. The adapter works as expected on the two laptops. The ethernet works great and the power passthrough works well. I experienced an issue with my iPad Pro where the ethernet works as expected, but the passthrough power does not function to power the device. It may be a compatibility issue with the tablet. This works great when I need to take advantage of wired speeds.

Easy to use, full 1GB speed
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simple to use and does what it says. Just plug into a USB-C port. No drivers needed, Windows 10 set it up automatically. Without power I got a 1GB Ethernet connection. Plugged in 60w (Max rated) and 45w power supplies and the laptop was powered as well as having the 1GB Ethernet connection. Having power and Ethernet on one USB-C port saves space, ports, and works fine. With or without a power supply you can have a 1GB Ethernet connection in a small form factor that is plug and play.

A Good Add On Accessory!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Belkin USB-C Network adapter is a must-have if you sometimes experience internet lag as I do. I love to write in the wee hours of the morning; however, sometimes my Wi-Fi connection lags during that time, this has always been a mystery because, during the day and evening hours, my internet is robust. Also, I have used this and gotten faster larger file transfers. This little staple has filled the gap perfectly.

Hard wire speeds on my laptop!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This adapter is perfect for getting hardwired speeds and security at home and away! In most cases hardwired is faster than wifi so I love this adapter's capabilities. This is great when you have the option for wired and you don't trust the wireless to be secure. When I plug in the laptop's power adapter in the power port, I get the message "HP Recommends using the original power adapter" but it still works.

Works well
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This adapter does its job well. I bought it because my wireless internet speed was too slow. Now that I use adapter to connect my gateway / modem's ethernet wire to my laptop, I get a much faster internet connection. As a result, I can download, open and upload files much faster.
