Returned the product, as I ended up using a docking station that would run on a usb-a port instead

The mirroring function and audio worked but when I plugged in to the charging port on the adapter it paused the mirroring function and did not charge my phone. Will have to return this to Best Buy and look for a different adapter that will work with LG V20.
