You have to activate an app on the phone to screen share, and some screening services block it, but the adapter does exactly what is needed.

Appreciate the tight connection

Within a few months of use many of the cheeper cables feel as loose as some of my oldest cables.

Like that it has another usb c port for chewing. Returned it cause I needed true wide screen. Maybe there was a way in the settings but I was expecting plug and play.

Adapter works great and goes into the laptop on the USB-C port.
