The store employee stated this was the one I needed. It did not work as I needed. It is not the fault of the cable or the employee for that matter; it was just the wrong application. Good news is Best Buy took it back without issue; good customer service

My wife plugged it into her tablet then plugged the charger in and the HDMI into the monitor. The battery went dead on the tablet, so evidently it will not charge and transfer the image to a monitor.

The Belkin AVC002 is compatible with mobile devices and laptops that have a video-enabled USB-C port. It has also been tested to work with Thunderbolt™ 3 port-compatible devices. Make sure that your device supports video-enabled USB-C port. Thus, you may try plugging it to another compatible device. I think that if a sales associate could have been helpful in the Boynton beach store and not busy ignoring me than I would have left the store with the correct device I needed but not the case . So a review of this item is impossible since I am not tech savy and basically just needed the assistance of a sales associate . My advice dont let them get away with "the ignore and she will go away act" Over priced for sure with no instructions available on package

I tried connecting my Dell display to my Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy A13, and Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) through this adapter. Did not work with Galaxy A13 and Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. With Ultra 22, it worked only through the DeX app with limitations. For example, I was not able to see movies or Samsung TV.

Disappointed about lack of power passthrough

HDMI and Power support for your USB C devices
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Need an HDMI adapter for your USB C device the Belkin HDMI adapter has you covered for all your IOS, Mac, Android, Chrome OS, and Windows. I was able to output to a second monitor with my Chromebook using the Belkin HDMI adapter for work and keep my device charged too at the same time. I can confirm that it works well with iPad Pro 12.9, Galaxy Tab S6, HP Omen 15 Laptop, and including my Galaxy Note 10+ device. I’m a huge fan of old school games that I played them via emulators on my Android device connected to my big screen. I did not experience any video lag when playing with a wireless controller. The maximum output is 4k at 60hz so you will be able to take advantage of all the resolution your tv has to offer. Overall I highly recommend the Belkin USB C HDMI adapter for your video out needs. It’s compact inexpensive, supports power delivery charge, and a wide variety of IOS, Mac, Android, Chrome OS and, Windows devices. If your device supports USB C video out the Belkin is a solid USB C HDMI adapter to pick up.

Does not allow charging while in use

It does not. It works fine otherwise. The lack of charging limits how long you can use it.
